NO NO. CHIN ó CHINCHIN NO es puertorriqueño sólo. Es tambien MUYYYY dominicano. En especial la región del Cibao y los campesinos en general. Chin es un vocablo TAINO, por eso los dos paises donde se conserva cultura y palabras taina lo hablan )PR.y RD) ♥️ (Tainos. Pueblos indigenas de las Antilles mayores de origen arawak). Santiago es en honor al Santo Santiago Apostol, muy venerado en España ( recuerda nuestra herencia hispánica y religión católica) Gracias por dar a conocer nuestro país.

"Chin " proviene del idioma chino y significa dinero. La historia está cuando al final del siglo XIX , en la construcción del ferrocarril vino una gran migración de chinos al país y trabajaban en el área de lavandería y restaurantes, cuando se acercaba el dominicano a obtener un servicio, el chino extendía la mano y decía "chin" ( dinero), de ahí hay un dominicanismo de adverbio de cantidad , ya que no sabia que significaba esa palabra y la confundieron con cantidad. Y de ahí la usamos en RD como cantidad.

Do you have time for lesson plans? I’m from Aurora Il too, It would be awesome if you can be my teacher. I’m not really a beginner, I just feel like I lost my skills and confidence after being away in Ohio, I didn’t need to use my Spanish rarely. Being back home and also traveling I want nothing more than to be confidently conversational
