Me gusta ver cómo los gringos después de que aprenden español comienzan a sonreír todo el tiempo. Literal no solo aprenden un idioma, sus expresiones cambian, se relajan, se vuelven más alegres. Lo contrario a cuando nosotros aprendemos inglés, nos ponemos más serios.

I should've known what jumo meant bc at least for Puerto Ricans, we say jumao. Also, my husband's family is Dominican and they like to cut letters even out of names. For example he has a cousin name Ismael. They say it like "Ee-ma-eh" lol 🤣

El español Dominicano se entiende perfectamente, lo que sucede es que esas son las jergas que se utilizan en las calles de parte de los "Tigres", es igual que el negro afroamericano que utiliza sus jergas en las calles Ejemplo: "What's up niggaz

Por “dame la luz” lo igual es “get me hip” o “get me lit” usado en ciudades como St. Louis, Chicago, Atlanta, etc

Dile esto, hermano Para aprender hablar 🗣 un idioma no puede tener miedo, ni vergüenza, porque entonces nunca va a poder hablarlo 🗣, Ricky y esa joven aprendieron hablar 🗣 el español porque nunca tuvieron miedo de equivocarse, eso es normal cuando uno está aprendiendo, se va equivocar, dile que comience y que ella no va a perder nada por empezar a iniciarlo.

@@bow6379 Por lo visto, el español no es tu idioma natal. de todas formas, no tiene importancia para el caso. Lo importante aquí es el sonido, ya que la palabra "kukicá", ni siquiera forma parte del español. Así es que no importa como la escribas (Apparently, Spanish is not your native language. anyway, it doesn't matter to the case. The important thing here is the sound, since the word "kukicá" is not even part of Spanish language. so. it doesn't matter how you write it)

@@RamonRamirez667 yo soy Domi 😂 Yo entiendo que es una palabra inventada (que podría ser añadida al diccionario algun día, quién sabe!) Pero la cosa es que el español te forza a representar los sonidos de esa palabra como: "cuquicá" (si fuera una palabra real se escribiera así). La k solo está en palabras derivadas de otros idiomas y que se escribían así. Haz este experimento. Vé a Google y haz dos búsquedas, una con cada forma y si encuentras kukicá me avisas xD

Just watched ur vid about u taking up Portuguese and Japanese. I’ve been doing Japanese too on and off for couple years now and I heard u say in Your vid u wanna use Spanish to learn Japanese I jus wanted to warn u bro Japanese is a diff monster it’s a challenge already doing it period but doing it in a second language unless you’re at a native level in Spanish is suicide. I recommend doing it in English. The writing systems along with the characters. Doing it in a second language will destroy your brain bro loool

Cuquiká is a dominicanism for the American English phrase cookie cutter. In case anyone was curious. Cookie cutter with a Dominican accent turns into cuquiká. We do that a lot out here 🤣
