That's very dramatic. It was a foul, but it wasn't a horrible challenge. Essentially impossible to break someones legs from that angle and how he did it.

7:04 he got a red card because it was his 2nd yellow, not a straight red card. Normally a handball only results in a yellow card except if it prevents a clear chance on goal.
