Keepers come out so that they close the angle coz those goal frames are big as hell. Try do 1 on 1s and you'll see, it's easier to score when the goalie jus stays in between the posts than when he's standing right in front of you and the ball. Coming out puts pressure on the striker and closes the angle of scoring

What you guys don’t realize is that if the keeper doesn’t come out the striker gets to dribble it close to the goal and it’s an automatic goal. A 1 v 1 is already a bad position for a keeper. They gotta come out to force the striker to make a move from further out.

bro you as a goalie if you stay in the net in those 1 v1 situations THAT'S A GUARANTEED GOAL FOR THE STRIIKER, why is that ??well when you stay btwn the posts you'll give him a lot of spaces to operate, he'll be way too confortable shooting that ball on yo ass.. You gotta go out to close that gap btwn you and him that's will make it tougher on him to score on ya...
