I REMEMBER IN WORKING FOR THE SPECTRUM IN PHILADELPHIA. THE AMERICAN GLADIATORS DID 5 ARENA SHOWS AND THE SPECTRUM WAS ONE AND IT WAS FRIGGIN EXCITING. I REMEMBER GETTING PICTURES WITH ALL THE GLADIATORS BACK OF OUR HOUSE AND IT WAS HARD TO CONTRTOL MY EXCITEMENT. NITRO AND LASER WERE THE TWO NICEST AND THEY GAVE ME THERE ADDRESSES TO SEND THE PICTURES TO THEM TO GET SIGNED WHICH I DID AND THEY CAME BACK AND I HAVE HAD THEM UP ON THE WALL SINCE THEN.

Blaze was the best and sexiest of all female gladiators, never understood why they replaced her!

@@kagemaru259Blaze had been injured before which ended her hopes of making the Olympic team but I don't think she had a career-ending injury on AG. I know Storm had a career-ending injury, as did Sunny and Malibu.

Ice Ice Baby She's the sexiest one of all and she's the best in the business, IMO She still looks good for her age, she's 50 and fabulous

I remember this one especially . . . since the contender in Yellow named Denise Chase . . . was skater and star in WSL Rollerjam . .. I also remember her getting into it with Blaze in Breakthrough and Conquer, LOL . . . In rollerjam she competed under the name Denise Loden . . . youtube rollerjam and Riot! . . . and you'll see Denise Chase (Denise Loden) . . . enjoy! Laters!

I'll admit it here- but the Bill Conti music and the overdone announcing by John Harlan in the beginning of the show is more tamer than Howard Finkel's overly theatrical announcing at the start of WWF matches- not to mention the rock and roll music accompanying the entrances on WWF shows.

I'd rather hear the overdone announcing by John Harlan on AG than to hear the circus-type intros by Mike Rome or Samantha Irvin nowadays on WWE shows- it makes Harlan's work on AG look tamer by comparison.

true... but i suspect that the previous generation of 'gladiators' were heavily into ROIDS... just listen to the female gladiators in this video...lol
