What are you crazy? Coven(S3) was literally the best season they could have ever made. anything after Coven was horrible like I agreed with you, but you missed the fact that season 3 was incredible. Maybe you didn't like it because you are white and it gave a more. Urban depiction of the occult arts here in America, as well, as the long long traumatic history, a racism in our country.

​@@mwellsdr Don't murder me! xD I like Coven. Myrtle Snow ftw. It also marks the addition of Kathy Bates to the cast, whom I hated as Madame LaLaurie so she did a fantastic job. Again, she always does. I'm into historical awareness, particularly injustice, so that's not the reason. This is "American Horror Story" we are talking about. If you don't enjoy mythos you are not gonna be able to watch it, so that wasn't the reason either. I just don't find Coven, Freak Show or Hotel particularly special, but I enjoy them. I have two issues with Coven. First, they could have developed the occult theme better. For example, to me, there's nothing more shocking than LaLaurie torturing her servants. This was a series about witches and the occult. Turn someone into a living chair or something. A subplot should not outshine the main plot. Now, Queenie, that's creativity, that's a cool character. But raising zombies certainly didn't do it for me. Second, it has too many plot holes. From the top of my head: 1) Spalding cut his tongue, so either attach it or make him write the name 2) LaLaurie would have become insane locked for just a moderate period of time, imagine close to 200 years. 3) Marie Laveau's station in all sorts of facets is unrealistic, she's been around for more than 200 years, so is like playing a D&D character for 5 years and staying at level 1 all that time, etc., etc. It's fun to watch but it has too many plot holes for my taste. And probably using one of the houses in Audubon Place wouldn't have been a bad idea either. To me "Murder House" was pretty good and then "Asylum" was amazing. Angels and aliens aside you have an Asylum full of people with mental health issues (including complete lunatics), and an abusive staff (including a mostly cruel zealot, and two deranged doctors), with lots of horrible things taking place. It really gives you this vibe of impotence, despair, and fear because that scenario is mundane enough for us to relate to. I think Sarah Paulson was particularly effective in showing us that fear, even if she turned out to have more balls than Marv and John Wick put together. Now if you excuse me. I need to watch again that scene with Fiona: "In this whole wide wicked world, the only thing you have to be afraid of... is me."
