Even I'm a massive admirer of korean culture, kpop and everything korean but if I was to judge between these 2 guys, I'd have kept all my admiration for korean culture aside and would have judged them impartially, completely based on their performances. @@Naveenbr-kp8gc1yi3d VJ sounds more like Vijay than what the American was thinking of. His mind seemed to go immediately to BJ, as if VJ were never a thing in the United States. That is all that was saying over a week ago.

@@AT-rr2xw nah, he was thinking vijayjay which is US slang for a woman’s genitalia. However you’re right a VJ is a music video show host.

I think the judge is biased or just too much into correction. Names are used for calling the person and that much accuracy like she explained every time doesn't needed. The caller just need to pronounce the word correctly not accurately, who cares if some one call anyone's name inaccurately but correctly. Both of them American and Korean did the very good job, even American guy is much better and he pronounced the word correctly in one or two chances and Korean guy is also right but he takes 3-4 chances. If they different judge than I think American guy will be first and Korean guy will be second. Yes, they both did the good job no one is a loser here.

Wow, so Gun Hee just decides or prefers to speak both English and Korean? If he doesn't know English fluently, it sounds pretty good even if he knows a little.

It is clear that the Indian, Noopur is a western educated, urban woman with little limited knowledge of the roots of Indian language and a narrow view of what is popular. Case in point - when asked by the Korean - she doesn't know the meaning of "Dhriti"(roughly translated as fortitude). Also, Anushka is not even an Indian name - an imported one. And it is being used only in the last 10-15 years mostly by some urban parents. It is trendy but cannot in any way be termed as popular in India.

Tbh,I didn't know about Anushka being imported. And I am Indian living in India. I agree with Dhriti though. Every indian name has a meaning behind it so she was off base there.

Before watching this video fully, I saw the thumbnail with the word "Vijay" and instantly I thought of my favourite actor, Thalapathy Vijay, probably because I was watching videos related to his upcoming movie "Varisu". Now to watch the video fully!😅
