most UK artists start off writing bars not songs so they can use them on many different beats across genres. When i was growing up you would have a room full of guys who spit bars and a DJ who would play instrumentals and each guy would spit like 16s or 32s then pass the mic so you wouldn't know what instrumental you would be spitting on or what part of the instrumental you would get to spit on. I have always said UK Grime MC's can flow with any beat and most genres.
