SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione. He sang this song on his digital concert in January 2021 during the pandemic. He had to cancel his tour and did this concert for his Dears/fans. That’s why there was no audiende to be seen or heard. SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. With this song in this version I have gasping breath all the time. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements. I think he has incredibly beautiful hands🤭(and apparently many cameramen think so too, since many of the camera shots during his performances very often only show his hands. Did anyone tell you that Dimash now sings in 14 languages? He had a concert at the Barclay Center in NY, sold of course, with "Dears" coming in from 47 different states and 54 different countries. I know that you will be getting requests for "Unforgettable Day-Gakku, but, please, please also react to the version he did on "The Singer 2017. Also from that show, "Adagio, "The Show Must Go On, and "All By Myself. He was only 22 yrs. old when he appeared on that show and he wrote Unforgettable day at the age of 19. Dimash was invited to participate in "The Singer 2017" as a dark horse. No one other than the producers knew anything about him and the other performers didn't even know what he looked like. He was also the youngest with the others being 12-39 yrs. his senior and all of them were already professionals with established careers. Some of them said it was stressful to perform after Dimash. FYI if you watch anything from the Singer competition in China 2017, the rules stated only covers of world hits were allowed. And of course as a competition Dimash needed to WOW the audience of 500 judges who were all music industry professionals. He was only 22 years old at the time and the other competitors were all well known professional singers. Olimpico is an original song written especially for Dimash to sing at the 2nd European Games 2019. Great song that he sings at every solo concert. The 2021 version from the Dimash Digital Show online concert during quarantine was the opening number and is one of my favorites although you can't go wrong with any performance. He is always perfect. Anything from the Dimash Digital Show Playlist on his KZfaq channel is great.

The guy started music school at five and his is finishing his thesis for the Doctored degree. The guy is a monster, his granma was playing different keys in the piano and the kid was able to imitate them, the next year he was in the school and stayed with schools that were into the music then any other subject. This isn't even my favorite performance of SOS. This is Dimash's signature song, that he is best known for. He performs it a bit differently every time. My personal favorite performance that I have seen of this is from 2018 at Sochi New Wave. This particular performance was from a special digital show/concert that he released in January 2021, when almost everyone was stuck at home. There are a lot of good performances available from this show. As I commented on your reaction to Stranger, Dimash also has a lot of great music videos. He puts a lot of work into those as well. Be With Me is a lot of fun. So is Golden. Both are mini-movies and I would really recommend watching the official video, rather than live performances. The live performances are also great, but give the videos a watch first. He has many others that don't have music videos. His current top video is undoubtedly The Story of One Sky, which is also his most recent. I see someone else told you that you aren't ready for that. Honestly, you are ready for anything he has done and you will be amazed by all of it. One word of advice, some people will tell you to react to fan cams of his live performances - I REALLY suggest not doing that. While the visual angles are sometimes interesting, the sound quality is almost always lousy. If you have actually read this far and are looking for someone else to react to, let me suggest Angelina Jordan. She is an amazing singer from Norway, who performs primarily in English. She won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 8 (her performances were when she was actually only 7). Most Americans probably first saw her when she performed a cover of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody on America's Got Talent: The Champions a couple of years ago. However, if you want the most amazing introduction to her - try the black and white video of her performing I Put a Spell on You by Screamin Jay Hawkins. She was only 9 in that video, but you wouldn't possibly know that if you weren't watching.
