Her parents are famous singers in Kazakhstan. He studied piano and singing. He later graduated in classical and contemporary music. He has a master's degree in composition and is currently pursuing a doctorate in musicology. He speaks Kazakh, Russian and English. He sings in several languages. He has received countless awards and honors at home and abroad. After competing in "I am a singer" in China 2017, he became famous all over the world. And then as they listen, their face changes from doubt to disbelief😄. Dimash is a 28-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. Yes, in my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 7,7 octaves (vocal fry C1 (B0) - whistle D8 off the piano). That means he hits notes in almost 8 octaves and sings consistently in 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly😅). At least what he has shown us so far. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert). Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their origianal, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was in his hometown Almaty, it was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him, you realize your so wrong. He said in an interview he trains every day at least 3 hours and he swims under water very often to increase his lung capacity. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. Not only is he perfect at singing and performing, he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. The man who often is playing the kobyz in Dimash’s performance (also here in Stranger) is the best on this instrument and a good friend of Dimash. His name is Olzhas Qurmanbek. You often can hear this instrument when Dimash sings in his native tongue like Samaltau, Qairan Elim or Òmir Òter. Stranger was performed in Sochi, Russia in 2021 at the New Wave singer competition. Dimash has been honing his vocal gifts with extensive training since he was 5 years old. Personally, I consider this his best song (through the time of this performance). Some of his more recent work is forcing me to reconsider my favorite--several at least tie! He constantly surpasses himself, and surprises us every time. This amazing performance is the fruit of one of his collaborations with Igor Krutoy, the composer, who is seen on the piano in this video. Goosebumps are a frequent occurrence when Dimash sings!

Have you watched the 5th Element movie, in the movie there is a part where the Diva Dance song is performed by this Alien character. In the film this song was designed as a pop-opera to be technically impossible for a human to hit some of the high notes so quickly after another. Mula-Tchako had to sing the notes individually so that they could be arranged digitally. You should watch Dimash perform this. Had Dimash been known then, they could have saved themselves the trouble 😂
