Here's a bit more information regarding Her Maj, JT. As all of the courts throughout the whole of the U.K. sit in her name then none of the Royal Family - including herself of course - nor any member of her households wherever they're located can be prosecuted for any crimes without her okaying it....this applies to all of her many households irrespective of where they're located and whether or not she happens to be in residence there. When I say any crimes that includes murder - unless it's either attempting to or actually murdering a member of the Royal Family of course which would be considered to be High Treason and could be punishable by death. So do you still think that she's just a sweet little old lady now, JT, after I've given you this bit of information? To use an American term she's obviously more badass than you realised, isn't she?

The Queen has essentially no authority whatsoever over the army of the nuclear arsenal. On paper, perhaps, but not in practice. The authority for military action rests solely with Parliament. Although the Parliament has to ask the queen's "permission" for some things, that's ceremonial. She doesn't have the authority to say no to the Prime Minister and, if she did, then Parliament could and would go ahead without her approval. She's a tourist attraction. Not a real head of state.

In brief, this is right. The Royals have various code names, at varying levels of ‘Secrecy’ and for different ‘uses and reasons’, within the UK Security and bureaucratic system. But the most common theme runs after the names of Bridges. There are various ideas as to how this was settled upon that are too long to go into here, and are lost in the mists of time. But we do know, that when a (senior) member of the UK Royal Family passes away, this news is initially spread at the highest levels by saying “XYZ Bridge is Down.” So, the current Queen’s code name is London Bridge. So, when she eventually passes away (she is now 94, after all!!) the first announcement will be “London Bridge is Down.” Likewise her husband, Prince Philip, is Code named Forth Bridge. So upon his passing, the relevant official will break the news that “Forth Bridge is Down.” Prince Charles (who is next in line to the throne, and will in effect become King the moment The Queen passes) holds the code name “Menai Bridge”. These are all real, currently used Bridges, which can be verified with a quick Google Search. As mentioned, there are different code names used by different Security Agencies, etc, for different reason. Interestingly, Prince William and Kate Middleton, are officially titled The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The main code names used to refer to them quickly, are “Danny Collins, and Daphne Clark”. Ordinary sounding names, perfect for blending in, but note the initials - DC, for both Duke/Duchess of Cambridge. Before withdrawing from Royal Duties, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Official Titles were The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Hence they were coded “David Stevens and Davina Scott” (again check the initials). After this, things get quite complex - and classified - quite quickly. For example, bizarrely, when on foreign visits, Prince Charles has often been given the Code Name “Unicorn”. No, I kid you not!! But here things get mysterious and secretive..... so enjoy doing your own research!!!

The Household Cavalry is only “special” in that, like the Footguards, the “Mounted Regiment” is constantly on ceremonial duty. But Soldiers and Officers are rotated into the operational duty in the armoured reconnaissance regiment. The Household Cavalry is split into The Lifeguards (redcoats and white plumes on ceremonial duty) and The Blues and Royals (blue coats and red plumes). Harry was in the Blues and Royals, but in his first tour in Afghanistan he was attached to the Royal Ghurka Rifles as an Air Observation Officer, in his second tour he was attached to the Army Air Corps as an Apache attack helicopter pilot.

Lady Sarah Frances Elizabeth Chatto, daughter of Earl and Countess of Snowdon. Otherwise known as the daughter of Princess Margaret, the Queens sister. Not unusual to have more than one middle name when you are trying to honour (or rather appease) more than one family member. The Queen herself is Elizabeth Alexandra Mary, named after her mother, Great Grandmother and Grandmother. The Queen still drives herself around when she's at Windsor or in Scotland. (Or at least did a few years ago, she may have given it up due to age now.) She also goes to the local shop when at Balmoral. Though the protection will be nearby. Apparently, the guy who got into her bedroom woke her up, and she sat calmly talking to him till the police arrived. The thing not mentioned in the video was in the 70s, when Princess Anne (the Queen's daughter) was almost kidnapped. She'd been at a charity event, and a car forced her car to a stop. The guy shot her protection officer, shot her chauffeur, and told Anne to get out of the car and into his. She famously is reported as saying 'not bloody likely', at which point a passer by punched the attacker, and another policeman arrived, who was also shot, but had been able to call for back up, and the attacker was arrested.

As i understand it, there have been numerous successful break in's. Each perpetrator that got to meet the queen commented on how polite & graceful she was. Offering tea & refreshment before being taken away, under arrest, where, subsequently questioned on how the offence was committed with respect to security detail/arrangement, then being taken away to jail. There are rumours that people have been paid to attempt to break in to the various royal palaces, in on-going security reviews, but as I also understand it, none have actually been confirmed.

She came to my home town once and I met her as she pointed to me in the crowd. We then went back to my house and had microwave popcorn and smoked a spliff. It was in all the main newspapers. I see her at least twice a month since that day and next week we’re going bowling then dinner at frankie and bennys

Just a suggestion for tattoo - look up "Royal Doulton bulldog union jack" on Google Images - you have everything British there - the Bulldog - the union jack flag - and the James Bond connection (M had the Doulton bulldog on her desk and left it in her will to Bond after Skyfall.

Say what you like about Prince Charles; I know he's not that popular, but when that bloke came running at him, firing a gun, he didn't flinch. He just adjusted his cufflinks. But, the attempted abduction of Princess Anne was the funniest. She had seen her driver and security man shot; had a gun pointed at her, while she sat in the car and when told to get out, just said "No". Balls of steel!

I think a tattoo of a Queen's Guardsman would be cool, maybe in a cartoon style.

I live near the Queen's winter residence in Sandringham, Norfolk. We are very used to seeing Royal protection officers out and about. And The Duchess of Cambridge has been seen numerous times shopping with her children. Most people are not really interested. Just a casual recognition that we've seen them, and then on with our day. Meh!

Guards regiments don't wear "Busby's". They wear "Bear Skins". A Busby is a shorter version worn by King's Troop, of the Royal Horse Artillery.

Hey there JT, English chap here from near Manchester (in the north). Loving your vids, it’s great to see your channel growing. Could I recommend when reacting to vids about the U.K., you use U.K. created vids; the details are likely to be more factual. Keep up the good work, get well soon, G

For security bods they are aware of most everything around them - usually called situational or tactical awareness. It’s something that’s drilled into everyone joining the British military, but it can cause problems when you leave/retire from the Corps (retired bootneck served 1978-2008). Couple that training with plenty of close calls, TBI’s, IED’s, etc and witnessing what humans do to each other then you are on your own dealing with severe PTSD, whilst the awareness stuff just keeps the paranoia going for a long time. As the royal security guys explain that doing a very intensive job is tiring and demanding, I can understand the pressure they’re under, but little is known about their mental state when they move on. The only difference between them and the typical bootneck (Royal Marine Commando) is that they’re never shot at, suffer IED’s, or see friends and colleagues with injuries that I can’t describe here (KZfaq censorship) nor do I want to bring forth the sights/memories of dead friends.

I nearly got run over by the queen once whilst walking down her driveway at Windsor Castle. The queen was driving the car (a Jaguar) on her way back from church and only had 1 chase car (a range rover) driving very close behind her. Also realised I was stood next to Prince Andrew and one of his daughters once in a CD store (this was 20 years ago) also in Windsor (I was living there at the time). Andrew did have a bodyguard nearby with a bulge under his jacket (assuming a gun). Interesting anecdote - Andrew tried to get his bodyguard to pay for the CD his daughter wanted and she told him off for not paying himself.
