When Uncle Albert was asleep in the chair, you could hear the old BBC Six O'clock News intro music on the TV, before Billy Idol drowned it out

Has anyone mentioned that the theme song is sung by JOHN SULLIVAN the writer of ONLY FOOLS AND HORSES he wanted CHAS AND DAVE to sing the theme tune and they were up for it but they had a hit on their hands with AIN'T NO PLEASING YOU so were unavailable they were the cockney singers with loads of hits with NO PLEASING YOU, THE SIDEBOARD SONG, RABBIT, MARGATE were the jolly boys outing went for a day out and SNOOKER LOOPY so John Sullivan recorded the theme tune himself it always makes me smile when I hear the theme tune because john Sullivan is immortalised in the song because everybody who seen OFAH knows the song off by heart 👍

You did the right thing going back to react to this 1990 Xmas 🎄 special. Season 7 was broadcast in 1991. From this point on the British public were only treated to Christmas specials and they go in this order: 1991 = Miami Twice (the American Dream, Oh To Be In England Again) 1992 = Mother Nature's Son 1993 or 94 = Fatal Extraction 1996 = Heroes And Villains, Modern Men, Time On Our Hands 2001 = If They Could See Us Now 2002 = Strangers On These Shores 2003 = Sleepless In Peckham

In a way it was better seen out of order, i appreciated it better. The writing atvthis point is just great as well as thecacting and from this point the cast is fairly stanle with Cassandra and Raquel with Uncle Albert playing a key role.

Dude I absolutely love your reactions but you have this bad habit of pausing either mid joke or end of joke before the full laughter and actor reaction taking the edge off 😂 you missed david Jason trying not to laugh at Alberts shock reaction
