Apparently, the receipts that Rodney gets for Raquel's dad in order to confirm their ownership of the watch are the exact same receipts that he was looking at back in the very first episode.

The elevator scene is probably the best example in this show of what fantastic actors both David Jason and Nicolas Lyndhurst are. This show often takes us from laughter to heartbreak and back to laughter again in a way that no other TV series in the history of TV has ever done.

There are 3 more episodes after this but there's a big part of me that wishes they hadn't been made. However there's a prequel series called Rock and Chips that's really worth watching. Also there's a spin off series called "The Green Green Grass" which features Boycie man Marlene that you might like.

Episodes like this are why this is, to this day, considered the UK's best sitcom. It's not just hilarious, it's emotionally deep and breaks your heart several times over, while not being SO sad as to be constantly depressing and miserable. It makes you cry, then it makes you laugh again right afterwards.

John Harrison's watches/clocks are basically the reason we were able to "safely" sail the seas back in the day. I always thought it was pretty cool they used a real example of a rare (legend says it's lost) watch.

Sadly Life imitates art. Rodney and his wife lost their teenage son unexpectedly. Two or three years ago. Due to an undiagnosed illness. I hope they are both doing as well as is possible 🙏.

Two shows you could consider that have links to OFAH. Firstly, Minder - not strictly a comedy, but it has many funny parts. I always thought it was the inspiration for OFAH. Arthur, a dodgy dealer of rubbish or bent merchandise manipulates his assistant (Minder) Terry in the same way that Del manipulates Rodney, and like Del, Arthur always manages to get his way and "win". Secondly, The Vicar of Dibly, where the guy who plays Trigger is just as funny, and there are a bunch of other quirky English characters in the show.

Okay, this is my all-time favourite OFAH episode. Such a classic! Great reaction & can't wait for the other part of this ep. Also, this IS NOT the last ever ep, there is more after this

Rodney’s baby situation is heartbreaking. Especially knowing you’ve been through it. I’m in the same boat but sadly I can never have children from an accident. It kills me and I always relate with this and the last episode

There r also a couple of spin off series. One called "the green green grass" which is all about boycie and Marlene and another one called "rock and chips" which is a prequel. It has James Buckley who played Jay in "the inbetweeners" as a young del boy. X

As I and others have suggested previously, please react to Rock n Chips once you’ve done the last three episodes of Only Fools and Horses. After that, I’d like to recommend Still Game. It too manages a wonderful mix of humour and pathos but set in a run down housing estate (or scheme as we’d call it in Scotland but for you in the USA, it’d likely be known as the projects). It’s two main characters are actually portrayed by the writers. Though if you fancied a drama with a large helping of comedy, there is also Life on Mars and it’s sequel Ashes to Ashes.

This should have been the last episode, the next one is pretty bad (understandable though given the context of its creation). The 2nd and 3rd ones aren't too bad, could have just done with a harsher edit to cut down on the repetition.

Don't know where you got your intel from but it certainly wasn't from IMDB which I have advised you countless times to check the episodes order! There are still 3 remaining Christmas ⛄ specials from the 00s to react to which are in this order: 2001 = If They Could See Us Now 2002 = Strangers On These Shores 2003 = Sleepless In Peckham The '96 Xmas trilogy was originally supposed to be the last ever set but due to popular demand the late great John Sullivan concluded the series 5 years later to mark the 20th anniversary of the show. Time On Our Hands in 1996 was the last time we saw the characters Uncle Albert and Mike on-screen because both actors sadly passed before the comeback. The hilarious gravy/ coffee mix-up with Albert's famous shame face is a great way to remember his last ever episode. You must watch the actual last 3 specials for a funny but touching tribute to a real-life war hero
