I was really pleasantly surprised to see someone who didn't get it, actually spend some time trying to get it. It's important, however, to know something about Stray Kids if you are going to react to more of them. They are VERY coherent with their storylines/music, but they also like to use wordplay and complex artistic techniques, so sometimes its hard to find the meaning beyond the "bop" (as lalalala is widely considered to be😂). In fact, it often takes watching reactors from different backgrounds to grasp just how non-random and genius they are (i.e. music producers, classical musicians, film directors, etc). Literally everything in their work is engineered to give a specific experience. From the beats to the lyrics to the choreo to the imagery. If they want to project the experiences of anxiety, chaos, and the way your heart races with fear, excitement, confusion, etc when performing (as was their purpose in this mv), then that is what their lyrics, choreo, beats, and visuals will make you feel. However, through all of the chaos they portrayed/produced here, they repeated a single important message: "Just feel the rhythm of the world...just feel the rock...just let it rock." That was the grounding storyline, and it was way up front and center❤. Stray kids write and produce their own stuff, and are 8 extremely close, hard-working artists. They have a million different sounds and styles, so if this song doesn't work for you, then maybe others will. Not sure which ones to recommend to you, though. Some more straightforward, less chaotic songs might be cover me, lonely street, streetlight, slump, scars, double knot. Hope to see more skz reactions from you❤.

i know this mv might seem random and incoherent at first (i get it most of us were confused at first) so ill try to explain it. u were right abt the recital thing, actually the mv is meant to be like the inside out movie the entire thing is happening inside the kids head as he's on his way to perform and he's feeling a lot of conflicting emotions:anger, happiness, sadness and pleasure (rak/rock also read as la) and there are four sets to show four different emotions: the shipwreck: anger (im assuming its because of the entire thing surrounding pirates and being angry the set is inspired by that john depp pirate movie) the bank robbery: joy (this set is inspired by one of the jokers movies and u can see the clown masks but unfortunately i forgot its name) the white background: sorrow (as u can see the void and neutrality of the set) the rockstars: pleasure (as being a rockstar is basically about being a free spirit and enjoying oneself) throughout the mv, and while the kids are performing, the emotions disappear one by one until only Rak is left 怒 (anger) disappears at 1:03 喜 (happiness) disappears at 1:48 哀 (sadness) disappears at 2:00, leaving us with just 樂 (pleasure) the song is basically representing u should come in terms with all of those emotions inside u and just focus on one thing, the pleasure in life, and how the song helps u feel that i hope u can react to thunderous, gods menu or sclass next i do think youd like them!

LALALALA It is the story of the battle of emotions within the young boys as they face their stage fright and they prepare to perform in front of their audience. These emotions are represented by not only the Chinese characters for Anger, Sorrow, Joy and Pleasure but also by the different sets. The clowns in purple are representative of the Batman movie, The Dark Knight. Then we have Pirates of the Caribbean and Mad Max. Once an emotion is overcome the Character disappears as does the set. Eg when they overcame their Anger, the character dissolved and the bank robbery set blew up in an explosion. When Sorrow disappeared, the Character vanished and the huge foot squashed it all. So on until PLEASURE is the only emotion left. The Stage Fright is gone and the young boys get to take pleasure in performing for their audience. The moral of the story, whatever you do, don't let Anger, Sorrow or other negative emotions stop you from finding the pleasure in life. A wise man once said (Bang Chans father) whatever you choose to do in life, JUST ENJOY.

Definitely the deep end with this one. I suggest some of their more lyrical songs like leave off this same album. There is a live performance on the jyp page. Other good ones are scars, chronosaurus, secret secret and blueprint. Some of their videos are deliberately confusing. But once you figure it out, they always make sense. Other more aggressive songs that i like are side effects, maniac, cheese thunderous. Also their japanese songs social path, circus, the sound, and all in. Most of their songs are good. They've done so many styles that you can probably find at least one that really speaks to you

The thing about Stray Kids is that they put so much thought and deeper meaning in all of their songs. You will pretty much never be able to know exactly what the video is all right at the start--you have to watch the whole thing. Their videos will make you think. Bang Chan (the leader) has said that even when it comes to their lore (which is not in every video), he likes the fans to interpret the videos and get their own meaning to it/relate to it.

The name was coined after the release of their song God's Menu, where they talk about cooking their own soup (tang) and it refers to their unique sound. 3Racha (composed of members Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han) are well known for their word play and inspirational lyrics and are recognized as the official producers of Stray Kids. 3Racha received the best creator award at the 2023 AAA awards show.

Overcoming stage freight for the kids performing is the basis for the video, the scenes are movie related Pirates of the Caribbean, The Dark Knight ( the bus, clowns and guns) and Mad Max (the flames and musical instruments) children’s imaginations. My question to reactors would be, why is there such a need to understand every detail of a video from the get go if you are reacting to a group for the first time? Stray Kids have a massive discography and it is possible one song could be related to another song or video and if you have never seen them before how would you know ? Honestly considering you listen to a lot of rap music already if you would want to listen to songs with none to little to none rap in it well kpop songs usually have a lot of rap in it but i would recommend Akmu songs like there latest releases were 'hero' and 'love lee'. i would also recommend seventeen song 'world'.

If the MVs are too much, it's always best to check out lyrics videos. But yeah stray kids go outside the box with a lot of things I always recommend someone's first Stray Kids song should be God's Menu to really understand them.
