The David clip was insane... It's from Celebrity Big Brother in 2016. The first woman is Angie Bowie who has just been told her ex husband David Bowie has died. David Gest was another competitor on the series and had been ill and had left the main house. So the second woman assumed Angie was talking about him... cue everyone losing their minds.

Oh, and by the way, the hysterical woman at the beginning, Gemma, who is 'claustrophobic and has money' is the same woman who face planted on the ice later on in a different reality TV show... and she made a return appearance in the David is Dead sequence as 'the expression that says it all'. She got to be in THREE clips!

The woman going on about children's names is the awful Katie Hopkins. A few years ago The Mirror had to issue an apology about her arrest in South Africa. It is an all-time classic... "A previous version of this article suggested that Katie Hopkins was stopped from leaving South Africa because of the consumption of ketamine. We are happy to clarify that Ms Hopkins was detained for spreading racial hatred, which took place after the ketamine incident." ...which more or less sums her up.

The reality TV show was Celebrity Big Brother (2016 season). That clip was on the day David Bowie died. The older lady is his ex-wife Angie and mother of his eldest child. Unfortunately by coincidence David Guest (Liza Minnelli’s ex husband) was also a castmate on the show and had been very ill and resting in bed for most of that week, so they thought she meant HE had died! Even more sad is that he really did die unexpectedly in his sleep 2 months later. Thankfully this didn’t happen on tv and was couple of weeks after the tv show had ended. If you can find a highlights reel of that season of Celebrity Big Brother it will probably be hilarious btw!

I think the word we're looking for is 'moronic' not 'iconic'.

The blonde woman who hates children's names is Katie Hopkins whose whole thing is to make extremely controversial and offensive comments about all kinds of things. There are a lot of compilations of them on the internet. You could do an hour video about the offensive things she's said and not even scratch the surface. (Opinions may vary though, Donald Trump called her a well respected British journalist when in fact she is almost universally derided and mocked.)

The DEAD DAVID was one of our greatest ever musicians: DAVID BOWIE so his EX Wife assumed that the Woman(and everyone else) would realise it was THAT DAVID who had died.By The Way The FIRST Woman who was Claustrophobic in the very first sequence was the same Woman who fell on the Ice while dancing. Every time I see her, she refuses to do something. The other night,she was about to experience being in a helicopter and she copped out of that, as well. She does NOT Dance, sing, tell jokes. Why she is "famous" heaven only knows...

If these truly are the most iconic British tv moments, then I'm becoming an iconoclast. 🙄

The last clip was Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby where they present a morning show called Good Morning. They went to a TV awards show the night before and came to the show still drunk. Holly actually fell asleep on the sofa at one point 😂

If I remember correctly she should have won The Apprentice but when offered first place declined it. The women saying 'David is dead' was Angie Bowie, ex wife of David Bowie so I guess putting two and two together the other housemates should have realised she was talking about him.

The last one was from This Morning the day after they won a National Television Award (it's in front of them on the coffee table) they clearly had been celebrating all night and were still very drunk.

The clip of Holly in her white dress was from when This Morning the TV show she presented on, won an NTA (National Television award) they were still celebrating the next morning. The reality show that Gemma Collins and the 'David's dead' clip is called Big Brother which started out as a social experiment. Gemma Collins got her break through a reality TV show called The Only Way is Essex (similar I think to Jersey Shore etc). I personally wouldn't have pick these as the most iconic TV moments.

'Her' David was a megastar 😂. I can understand why the other woman immediately thought of her housemate though. It's a sad day when reality tv and This Morning are iconic . The only reality show which to me is really iconic is 7 Up _ the documentary which followed a group of people who were aged 7 in 1963 , and has continued to do so every 7 years. How about Live Aid, or Torvill and Dean winning Olympic Gold, the Emmerdale plane crash which changed the nature of our soaps ( for the worse some would say😂).
