I suggest having the lyrics pulled up on another tab side by side so you can hear it and read it; your brain will start to link the new sounds from the accent difference and it’ll make sense more than just listening and wondering what they say, fr fr I say this as an American who started listening to drill like 5 years ago

It's definitely a slang barrier if anything, cuz once you understand the slang (and accent), UK music will be a lot easier to understand bcuz they use a lottt of slang in UK drill tbh
