Hi everyone! I'm an American from the Northeast (New England). I want to create a watering hole for people who want to discuss, learn and teach about history through KZfaq videos which you guys recommend to me through the comment section or over on Discord. Charlie Farley and Piggy Malone. This was an in show serial they were doing about 2 detectives investigating a murder on the Hms Canberra.

13:51 you can't stick tweezers in a UK electrical socket. We have shutters on ours that only open with the third pin on the plug. So you would need a 3 pronged set of tweezers to do that here!

The knowledge that you stuck tweezers into an electric outlet when you were small tells all I need to know as to your current (!) outlook on life. lol ha ha! Thanks for bringing back memories to me of Ronnie Barker who was a comic genius and causing me to have uncontrollable fits of laughter sorely needed in our current woes in this world. I think his finest performance was of Arkwright the grasping grocer in Open All Hours, look at the Jamaican Ginger cake episode as an example. He also wrtoe many of the sketches in the Two Ronnies under the pseudonym of Gerald Wylie which for a longtime no one knew about including the BBC and the shows producers. He wanted his work to be taken for the what it was not just because of his name and who he was.

Tomorrow’s World was a programme on British TV 60s/70s they showed new inventions and speculated on future inventions , my favourite I can remember was that air travel was becoming so popular that soon , late 70s I guess , we would just turn up at an airport , buy a ticket and get on a plane the same as using a bus , if only. There are episodes on KZfaq that I think you’d enjoy watching

Tweezers in a socket doesn't work in the UK, the Earth pin is longer to open the other two as the plug goes in, and the switch would be off when there's no plug in.

He’s short..hence the grill joke. 12:16 “Crumpet” is literally a waffle like food - but also slang for a sexy girl. 14:45 Yes, an innuendo boobs reference…the bow front other meaning is a style of house window which arches outward, combined here with an old parody about milkmen and gas meter readers having illicit sex with bored at home house wives..hence “the woman at number 42”.

Have you seen their sketch 'Round of Drinks'? Well you only see Ronnie Barker (the bigger Ronnie) in that one, but I think you will like it. Ronnie B. gets sozzled on that sketch.

You can't stick tweezers in our outlets, they have a gate in them, so no. If you could you would blow the main fuse, our electrics are higher voltages than yours, so more safety features. Those that succeed, usually die.

The shredded wheat joke is about an advert at the time with this woman singing 'there are two men in my life and both eat shredded wheat' . It was about her husband and her son but he's playing on the words to imply she had two boyfriends. The enormous shredded wheat would imply she had 20 boyfriends.

The drunk part was from one of the weekly parts of a story, in which they play the Detective duo, Charley Farley & Piggy Malone.

Here in the UK it’s 240v and you would get a tingle from it, I know I have had a few of them. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 The designed by Ronnie Corbett is in regards to the other half of the Two Ronnies. This sketch is starring Ronnie Barker the other half of the Two Ronnies. I used to love watching these.I can’t believe you couldn’t keep up with the Jokes. Love your reaction Connor, keep em coming. Engage pendant mode...Actually it's now 230v and has been for some time. France was 220v and the UK was 240v, we agreed to meet in the middle so we could share it, but that just turned into us, buying from them, with next to nothing going the other way... end pedant mode!
