they are awsome! I would say though fix those airplane arms lol when she gets older and does that her arms could catch those poles and bring em down. But they are amazing for their age and some great horses you have for them also :]

Just a couple of tips, for the first girl..Don’t hold the horn, unless you are turning a barrel, what that does if you do hold the horn is pull you out of your seat even more. Second, I know she is capable of going fast on that horse, but if she has to hold the horn, maybe go slower until you don’t get in the habit of holding the horn, and once you do get out of the habit of holding the horn you can start to go faster, and faster. Also it takes away your control over the horse, because when your busy holding that horn it’s harder for you to control with your legs and arms, because you don’t have another arm to turn the barrel, because your holding the horn. Lastly when you stop holding the horn, your horse likes to dive in a lot I can tell, but sense I do see that the horse does enjoy running barrels, that’s why he is doing it, so what you can do it really use your leg to make that horse, almost side pass over so we he approaches the barrel, he will know, “Hey I don’t want you to run me into the barrel, scoot over, it help you not run into the barrels and knock it over. Trust me I know those barrels hurt like heck when you run into them, other than that I think your a fantastic rider. It’s also easier for what I’m trying to say when you go up to that barrel is go, Wide Tight And Go. It will help a lot. This is just a few tips you could work on if you want to fix any of those issues! 😊

i love ace's strides when he gallops. his strides are so big, and horses with big strides and good riders often do well in barrel racing. dylan's horse is so fast.

the boy is just pulling back as he smacks the horses butt, the girl did good just try not to rely on the horn so much and more on your own balance, also try to keep your arms more still

Many things wrong here. Excessive whipping. You don't need a whip to make your horse fast. My horse has won reserved grand champion in 4-H and i don't use a whip I don't kick excessively. If you use a whip it's because you don't trust your horse that it's going it's fastest. You aren't a real cowgirl if you treat your horses wrong.

I'm about to start barrel racing and I have a pro barrel horse,(it was not on purpose to get aa old barrel horse), and she sits there for me to do something so most barrel horses need to be trained good. 😊 PS my horse is 27, but she is healthy and fast enough for a beginner barrel horse 😊

You don't need to hit your horse like that. Is a tie down NECESSARY? Spurs? I ride bareback and have never ridden with spurs or a tie down and I live, and don't say 'You only ride one horse though" Because ive ridden so many horses like that. I don't understand, Your suppposed to work together not whip and spur your horse to run faster and tie down his head so he basically can't see as well. It's probably painful,

I noticed alot of people are commenting on everyrhing that they are doing wrong... they are kids, not professionals! Yes there will be mistakes! He keeps whipping? Look at some of the girls at the Houston Rodeo, they whip their horses just as much if not more. Does he really need a tie down? You dont know why he has it, maybe his horse knows its there so he acts right. Why dont you take a look at the probabilities of why he would do the things hes doing first.

Everyone doesn't need to comment bad things like whipping and they have great horses and yes I'm a barrel racer and we don't wear helmets often and I train horses and students there wasn't a big problem to complain about so if you wanna complain go on bad trainers pages and start commenting but you wouldn't know a bad rider if you seen it blue in your face

Does that boy really have spurs AND a whip? While pulling on the horses face the whole time? Not the fault of the kid, but their teacher. if he keeps riding like that one day the poor kid will be riding a horse that's not as honest and patient as that lovely ginger pony and they'll learn quickly (and probably painfully) that their trainer let them down by not teaching them actual horsemanship.

You don't really need whips and stuff to go fast and to keep the horses head down. People use that stuff to compensate for the lack of trust in their horse. My daughter could do this without a whip or spurs or the tiedown and still have a faster time

OMG I understand that people have their own opinions on how to ride, but the question is, how many of you have actually barrel raced and pole bended? It's not as easy as it looks. So stop hating on the kids for crying out loud!! They are doing a fantastic job at what they are doing and they should be encouraged with kind advice, not hate. Yes, I do have to agree, Dylan (the little boy riding the sorrel pony, his name is stated in the description) could lay off on the whipping so much, but, would you rather see someone whip the horse or kick their horse in the ribs as hard as they can constantly, I would rather see a few pops on the rear end. And if you look closely at his whip, its a very flimsey leather, which, I have used on my horse, it doesn't do a whole lot, I've even popped myself with it a few times by accident and it didn't hurt. Now that I'm done with my little rant, Destiny's stirrups are a little long, but that's understandable since she was in a new saddle, (SOMETHING EVERyONE WOULD HAVE KNOWN IF ANY OF YA'LL WOULD HAVE TAKEN THE TIME TO READ THE DESCRIPTION!!!!!!) and both kids need to learn how to lean forward and get on their horse's withers, and keep their hands quieter and forward when encouraging speed. Also, Destiny needs to learn to lean against her horse, when she gets older and bigger, if she leans with her horse, he will shoulder the barrel. She needs to keep her body straight, other than that, they are doing a fabulous job in riding and I'm sure they have since improved!! :)

The English riders in this can zip it. He’s a little boy and if you were familiar with horses it takes a lot to hurt them . Therefore his smacking isn’t much. And before you hop on this little boy go tell the whole barrel racing community that it’s wrong and the horse is going as fast as it can .🤣
