I wish I would have been born there. It's so pretty and such a healthy lifestyle and it's safe

Depends on what you'd call healthy. If were talking about general quality of life and overall vibes its awesome. But if we're talking healthy in food. Thats another story. Uts a give or take. Have to remember Samoans have some of the highest rates of obesity. American fast food chains were introduced and it has not helped any. They went from eating more natural food. Their entire evolution built off that. Then having some of the most calorie stuffed unhealthy things thrown in front of you. Thats gotta be tough. Is an extremely beautiful place. Ive been a few times I highly recommend

The number of medical people per resident is low, but where I live a similar population does not have that many more, after you subtract all of the people who just shuffle paper. When I had my gall bladder removed, I saw roughly 20 different people. But only 4 were hands on medical people- the surgeon, his surgical assistant, the anesthesiologist, and the nurse. All of the others were people who just kept asking me about my personal information over and over again, had me filling out insurance papers repeatedly, asking me what meds I was on, etc. We may have 3 times as many actual medical people, though the number employed by the local hospital is probably 10 times as many when you count all of the paper pushers and multiple levels of management.

I am from Jayapura - Papua Province (Indonesia), very interested in hospitals in Samoa, and medics can visit the Jayapura Dok II Hospital to get to know each other in the medical field and see the city of Jayapura-Papua.

The main issue with American Samoa Government is that they don't entice Major corporations to come to Samoa. Samoa doesn't manufacture any products to ship oversea to foreign countries to generate revenues $ for the Samoan people. That will attract professional people to come and work in Samoa. Until that happens there won't be any prosper development for the people of Samoa..

Has LBJ Hospital put the word out if any Hospital equipment used could be shipped to American Samoa and other territories? Being able to increase technical equipment better than what they have.

Sometimes hospitals 🏥 may give or sell it at a fraction of the cost 🤔. There must be some place an broker organization or federal government has wisdom where they can help get it.
