I love Toyota trucks they’re great especially the Tacoma, trd pro is an amazing truck however it can’t do the same things that my ram 5500 Cummins can do so it really comes down to what you’re using it for I have a huge 10ft stainless v plow that a Tacoma would never be able to push but a Tacoma is way smoother and quieter than my ram and has more creature comforts

Bottom line is TUNDRAS are made to last A life time. After owning all american trucks and being let down with all the break downs. I now own a Toyota Tundra and will never go back to american vehicles. And yes I am an American Patriot.

I bought American truck once the worst truck ever, since I switched to Toyota no problem and I’m still driving cross the country. Also American truck get rust faster than Japanese trucks or no rust all

I think we misinterpret the present meaning of made in the USA; to me, it's the founding automakers of this country. They brought us the ideal muscle-cars and nothing compares to this day!!! On another note, I've owned a 2000 Chevy then a 2006 Mitsubishi and I have to say...Japanese cars/trucks are made better but lack that raw feeling of power behind the wheel. Sign looks cool brother and btw, I don't want to see your toys!! 😜

Your European explanation is most likely why people like James May and Jeremy Clarkson drive a Fiat Panda and VW Gti for daily drivers. Big wide supercars or SUVs aren't practical for narrow European roads

I often think about what it would be like driving the Mustang on one of those small roads and it is quite amusing

I could actually have a long conversation about the direction most automakers have taken in the past 10 years. Since we're both fans of the 90's-early 2000's sport compact craze. What has happened since then? There were so many cool cars. Import and domestic. Every manufacturer had a cool performance version of basic cars along with higher end "muscle" for bigger price tags. Nissan for example the Se-r version of the Sentra all the way up to a 300zx TT. Toyota had hot versions of the corola all the way up to a twin turbo supra. Mitsubishi Eclipse, Galant, and 3000gt, pick your performance level. Even Chevrolet... Cavalier Z24, Berreta GtZ, Camaro Z28. Now the TRD Camry uses the same ho-hum v6 as the rest of the bread and butter cars. Mitsubishi is barely a brand anymore. Nissan is solely for credit scores under 550. Chevrolet makes nothing sporty and small and Ford just stopped in the US after owning the market with ST Focus and Fiestas. The car future looks pretty grim with a bunch of boring self driving people carriers.

Sadly Toyota is the most "American" truck as Tundras ate made in Texas and Tacoma's are made....🤔 shit I forgot but made in a U.S state. Unlike Chevy (Mexico) and Ford (Mexico and Canada) *Edit* I got Ford and Dodge (Ram) mixed up. Rams are made in Mexico along with Chevys.
@AllCarsUnited3 жыл бұрын
Exactly but would you choose one over one of the big 3 becaus of that?
@industrlbeatnik3 жыл бұрын
@@AllCarsUnited not because of that. Unfortunately we Americans cost too much, so our Domestic brands are built cheaper to offset costs, but aside from reliability I'd still go with the Ford because it has a better diesel in my eyes.

F150's are built in Dearborn and Kansas. Rangers are built in Michigan as well. Not sure where this Mexico stuff is coming from

@@forcedinduction_drive1975 that's my bad I got Ford and Dodge mixed up. Rams are made in Mexico as well as US, and Canada is Fords plant that makes the Edge.

@@forcedinduction_drive1975 some fords have been assembled or partially assembled in the past. You are correct though.The question is more of a hypothetical question. Would you prefer one of the big 3 made abroad or would you buy a foreign model built in the USA . Is the American brand more important then where they are built or vice versa. Hope all is well and F Facebook 😄
