From the grocery store to the gas station, budgets are getting tighter across America as inflation cools ever so slowly. The new Consumer Price Index report for April will be released Wednesday, which many analysts believe could come in hotter than expected - even though inflation has fallen since its peak of 9.1 percent in June of 2022.

America is currently plagued by the hydra-headed evil duo of inflation and recession. The worst part about this recession is that consumers are racking up credit card debt. In April alone, credit card debt went up 20% while rates have doubled in a year. Inflation is so high that consumers are literally taking debt for basic life necessities. Collapse has indeed begun..

Every day we have a new problem. It's the new normal. At first we thought it was a crisis, now we know it's a new normal and we have to adapt. this year will be a year of severe economic pain all over the nation.. what steps can we take to generate more income during quantitative adjustment?I can't afford my hard-earned 180k savings to turn to dust

This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. I've been utilizing a portfolio coach for more than two years, and I've made over $800,000.

This administration is putting many families in difficult situations. A lot of people are financially struggling to live, put a roof over their head and put food on the table. Things are getting worse these days, if you don't find means of multiplying your money you might wake up a day to realise you didn't plan well for yourself and family.

@@aliceB357 personally, I focus solely on facts rather than 'shoulds', 'coulds', or 'maybes'. Despite supply the chain issue being resolved over a year ago, corporations persisted in maintaining high prices. It's only now, as people revolt and begin to adopt new habits, that corporations are reluctantly reducing their prices. This undeniable shift exposes the truth: the price hikes weren't driven by inflation, but rather by sheer 'Greedflation. Not everything is about politics. Ty🙏

For comparison... AU$10 will get you loaf of sliced bread and a block of butter. 2019 you could cook a meal. AU$500+ a fortnight groceries for 3 people People are leaving Sydney as it is simply not affordable. Rent has gone up over 200% Fuel: AU$2-2.40/litre Hotels etc everything has gone up... McDonalds Au$35 for 3x sausage and egg mcmuffin meals AU$13.50 large Big Mac meal Australia: the most unaffordable country.

🤣🤣😂😂 You think it’s bad now, in the not too distant future, $20:00 won’t buy a loaf of bread. It’s too late to wake up now sorry to say, these events historically happen in the final days of a collapsing society. Ya’ll should have spent more time reading history than following the lead of Professional Politicians.

Yep I knew 10 year’s ago this was going to happen I was not in a financial position to get my own home so I still live with my mum and have helped her pay off her mortgage. People in my generation need to look at staying at home longer or move back in and help with the bills. Then both can afford to save.

I understand peoples pain of not being able to afford groceries. I have been their too. Its the rising cost of fuel the grocery store has to pay the driver delivering the food and insurance. They have got to pay the electric bill and employees and last but not least there profit I hope this puts things in perspective.

the CPI number is irrelevant. it does not include things that we actually use and buy like housing insurance food, energy. I don't understand ignoring that and gaslighting like we can't understand we are being lied to.

The Bible talks about a time to come, where the price of a loaf of bread will be a day's wages. Used to seem like that was an exaggeration of sorts. Sure looks possible now. Prepping on at least a basic level makes sense.
