More importantly, they saved and changed millions of lives around the world. No other groups can replicate their success, artisty and sincerity. They have hundreds of songs, they do hip hop, r&b, balad, latin pop etc. His lyrics and videos have a lot of meaning, they deal with social problems, mental health, etc. Butter is one of the songs in English that they released in the pandemic just to convey a little joy to ARMY (their fandom).

They've written and produce those songs themselves. They flip over a company in a brink of bankruptcy to one of the biggest-- if not, the biggest music company there. Not just the core message in their music that are different, but BTS and BP self-branding are very different too. BTS focuses on music more than anyone. Music is their purpose, their reasoning, and their love. Proven by the fact that even though the pressure from the music industry pushed them to the edge, they still want to make music. They are good human beings that takes their work seriously, making sure every songs, albums, and performance are to a certain standard to not leave any regret for them, but also for the fans. Presently HYBE labels corporation formerly known as big hit entertainment owns 8 entertainment companies and music labels! Six music labels in Korea one in Japan and one in the United States. Each member of BTS was given shares in the corporation but when they signed their second contract for another seven years this happened in 2018. BTS owns part of their labels 8 labels actually it has ownership of their music their variety shows they're fictional storyline their web tools their music videos they're video games they're novels! BTS has done collaborations with numerous western artists from England Canada and the United States! They've also done numerous collaborations with Korean artists! black pink are barely selling out 15k arenas internationally, but their company is very good at media play to make people think they are much bigger. ( they are even paying YT reactors to hype them up, it is very easy to spot LOL) BTS on the other hand has sold 240k tickets over 4 stadium shows in Vegas this April. Sold out in pre-sale , they were not even put to sale to general public :-) comparing the two in laughable. Blackpink are ok, not my cup of tea, catchy dance music without much substance and the girls don´t contribute to their music at all. Most of it is written by a racist 40 y o man, so when they sing how they are not like other girls and how bad b*tch they are it´s kind of awkward to me IDK. All their songs are rinse and repeat. BTS are quite literaly the biggest group(not just kpop) in the world, going by sales, streams and fan engagement. Their discography is expansive, they have fun songs like Butter, catchy dance tune for summer to lift up the mood like Dynamite, but hey also have super hard hitting rap songs (UGH, Cyphers) and some of their lyrics are very deep(Shadow, Trivia Love, Black Swan Baepsae) There are whole explanation videos / twitter threads done by very smart people, fluent in both korean and english trying to explain the nuances. Literary references, psychological concepts etc, are very common in their lyrics. The 3 rappers are the main lyricists . fun fact : RM, the leader has 148 IQ and it fucking shows if you reallly wanna compare BTS to someone, you need Adele, Beyonce, Taylor. Coldplay, Drake and the likes, not other Kpop groups. LOL. BTS by themselves are x- times bigger that all the other kpop groups put together.

Black Pink and BTS have emerged along entirely different trajectories and actually are much more dissimilar than a lot of newbies to K Pop realize. I cannot envision a collaboration of the two adding any significant artistic value to either group unless creativity is strictly measured in dollars earned from the project. I believe each group has its own integrity. Both for their own reasons have collaborated with Western artists which for the most part has had good results. However, in my mind Western fantasy conjoining of Korean groups feels more like a boxing based on ethnicity than a pairing of compatible artistries.

Putting BP on the same level as BTS, humiliates the guys as people of the art. How can a group that sings and dances to songs handed to them be compared with a group of artists like BTS? Impossible. BP is an average group. Manufactured and a brand dealer rather than an artist that loves their art. There are 3 big companies in the K-pop industry which are YG, SM and JYP entertainment. We call them "the big3". Basically if you debut from these companies, you're likely to have everything easier from groups who don't come from this big3. You'll already have fans even before your debut, you'll have the hype, and you'll have media on your side because the big3 is controlling the media and influence in South Korea. Blackpink is one of the groups that come from the big3 which is YG. While BTS had to work their asses off to be where they're today because they were underdogs and not to mention how this big3 used to and still shitting on BTS and tried and still try to sabotage BTS because they couldn't believe a group from a small company is this successful.

Comparing BP and BTS is like comparing Mickel Jackson and little mix. Bts are legends. Rapping and singing is very common in kpop it's not like only bts and BP do that. Most kpop groups have people in different positions like, vocal ,rap etc. Bts has three rappers and 4 vocalist One thing is that They aren't just kpop idols. They are artists. They are very involved in their music as in writing producing and composing. The subjects they touch on are inspired by writers and thinkers and even psychologist . concepts of mental health, political incidents, youth ,self love etc. They even had a speech about one of their projects for self love and protecting children at the UN . They have spoke at the UN about 3 times and even performed their too( first group as well) They were literally the underdogs started as a hip hop group.their rise was nothing like any other kpop group. BTS sold out 2 nights at the Wembley Stadium in 120mins six years into their career while BP are still struggling to fill 30K arenas also six years into their career. 4. BTS have ARMYS, THEY DON'T.

Ummm, ngl but kpop labels tend to keep collabs within the label for music, unless it's smt like a commercial or a national project or a special stage or if labels have some kind of relationship. Or if it's a soloist. More likely, you'll see a member collabing with another artist but rarely will they put full grps together for a new track (tbh, I can't even think of 1 song with 2 full grps from separate labels). I mean, a song that was just for the music (BTS did do that Wednesday commercial song with GFriend and I think SNSD and 2PM did a commercial song too). Maybe we might see a feature for a solo/separate project in the future or a BTS member might write/compose/produce smt for BP but I doubt both grps would do a full track collab atm. And I remember _Do You Like Waffles?_ from albinoblacksheep videos.
