I have never seen a band with the kind of impact BTS has. I am 57 and I found them through my daughter. We were not getting along, really going through a tough period. Then she started showing me BTS videos. Once it caught on, (it didn't take long), we suddenly were talking again. She texted me videos and clips all day and now we are best friends. BTS literally gave me my daughter back. And you will hear so many stories like this. BTS helping people get through cancer, divorce, the loss of a child or spouse. Your life will be forever changed. Welcome.

So well-said, and I’m glad your relationship has been mended 💜 I can relate. We lost our son in September of 2020; BTS found myself and my then 12yo daughter through their Carpool Karaoke. It was the first time we laughed together since my son’s death. The silence of grief was shattered by these 7 young men, and we didn’t even know who they were. We watched it a few times in a row, and I just had to learn Hobi’s (J-hope) name. He was so full of joy and sunshine, it radiated out of him. Just needed to know his name…you know how that goes 🤣 Years later, I’m still down here in the rabbit hole 👋🏼

That's exactly what it did for me and my daughter. Now, she has expanded to being multi-fandom and sometimes gets annoyed with me talking about BTS so much, but I tell her she one has herself to blame!

I'm 57 and found BTS last year. During the last few months my mental health has gotten so much better. I've been close to the edge for years and now I don't even look in that direction. They saved my life. At 56 yrs old these 7 young men from Korea gave me permission to dance and some how convinced me that it's important to love myself and so I started to. Thanks to them I can dance with my 8yr old little Army granddaughter.💜

When Tess said “He’s got a wonderful smile” when talking about Yoongi, I felt that to my core and my heart clenched a bit. Because Yoongi has always been conscious of his gummy smile and he has mentioned before that it was the reason why he didn’t smile often, maybe because he feels like it’s not a nice smile. Perhaps he forgot that a person’s beautiful soul shines through his sincere smile. I saw it, Army saw it, and Tess saw it. I think he’s come to terms with that now and he smiles more often nowadays. I hope he continues to believe that people love him not only for his immense talent, but his beautiful heart as well. I love that man. 🥲💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I don't want Jess to cry more but there's a fan-made documentary series called Rise of Bangtan which follows them from beginning to now with all their ups and downs and shows how resonant their positive message has been for so many that I think you guys would like and we would love to see the reaction to!

So true.. I don't know what their story is, but this compassion and empathy doesn't come without heartbreaks... I'm glad everytime some one finds BTS as I know their life would changes for better from hereon. They heal you through your problems with one song at a time... For me personally, epiphany, love yourself, tomorrow - started breaking the walls and "promise" just made me realise that I matter, I matter for someone..

I usually don't comment on reactions, but it's impossible not to talk about how genuinely and sincerely you commented and reacted to bts! honestly, you are one of the few that I really see that are willing to learn and enter a world with music that is completely different from what they are used to, and to really meet the people who compose/sing these songs! @@RNTVIt’s so tiring seeing new reactors (that heard they could grow their channel reacting to BTS) yelling ‘YEAH BOI!! THESE GUYS ARE FIRE!!’ and dancing around like fools. Army is not fooled by fake reactors. We watch to see if the person really is reacting, if they feel what we feel, if BTS hits them like they hit us in the feels. You pass the test. Maybe better than anyone I’ve ever seen. Love ya both; can’t wait to watch you dive down the BTS rabbit hole. Don’t be afraid to look up Doolset Lyrics, watch explaination videos from people like the DKDK TV YT channel. Lyrics meanings can get deep; the bits of Korean history intertwined with the lyrics we need to be shown or we wouldn’t know. When you get to Spring Day…let me say you’ll need to follow the video up with the explanation video from the YT channel ‘Italian ARMY’. It’s in Italian, so you need subtitles, BUT…no other video explaining Spring Day comes close to the impact of the Italian Army one. You said something about having kids; I have two (that got me into BTS) and let me tell you…have LOTS of tissues handy. It hits hard. Hard hard. Watching that made BTS take the love for them to the moon and back. It made me Army.

And the story telling sequence is another scale. Not to forget mentioning, the way we think so similarly about the guys. Thank you fellow ARMY 💜 @Taylormari your video is my holy grail. One of the cool things is BTS has cultivated one of the most broad fandoms in terms of musical taste. I’m actually a metal head and I love BTS. Their overall message and authenticity along with their melodies & talent had me sold. I’m sure you wouldn’t struggle to find ARMY’s with musical tastes in any genre you choose to cover.

The reason why you haven’t really heard much about them is because you live in America and radio plays are controlled by American record labels. Most people who are open minded and give them a real chance fall in love with them as people and as artists. I’m excited for your journey. I went down the rabbit hole in 2020 and am a true Army. They really helped me come out of a depression during the pandemic and I am forever grateful. Welcome to BTS!

As a baby Army myself you guys are in for a treat. I always thought BTS wouldn't be for me until I decided to give them an actual chance 3 months ago and I've been in love with them ever since. These guys are just incredible human beings and musically they literally do it all every style and every genre not to mention their empowering lyrics. They're also super funny you should watch their interviews, funny moments and Run BTS episodes there's never a dull moment with them💜💜💜

seeing you guys be emotional towards every member made me tear up :( you reminded me of how i felt when i first discovered them, their love for one another and the love they have for ARMY is truly beautiful and overwhelming in the best way possible! also if you want a even more detailed story of how each member got into bighit + the road of their success i highly suggest: “Bts The Most Beautiful Life Goes on 2022” it shows a lot of the ups and downs of the road they are on. These guys have changed my life for the better and showed me how to love myself little by little and im going day by day just learning how to love myself. Without these guys id still be not loving myself plus being depressed. Ill tell yall one thing these guys heal and help with there music and lyrics as well. I have met these amazing men in person at fan signings in Korea when i lived there and they're so humble and incredible people. If it wasnt for bts finding me when i needed them most in my life i wouldn't have met amazing friends that are now like family thats what army is they are family.

Thanks for reacting to Taylor's Guide! BTS are such talented artists but there is so much more! We all came to BTS for various reasons and ended up being captivated by all the guys. I found them in 2013 and they have become a big part of my daily life. They're just real people who try their best (and are doing a fantastic job of it!!!!). BangtanTV is the YT channel where all the behind the scenes, dance practices, and Run BTS (the variety show) is located. HYBE is where all the music videos are. 💜

bts changed my life when i first met them in 2017. i’ve loved them for just being them. themselves unapologetically. each of the members have been through individual hardships, and hardships within the group but have continued to persevere and love themselves, and helping us to love ourselves in the process. “love yourself, speak yourself.” - kim namjoon borahae! i purple you! 💜💜💜

BTS came into my life when the pandemic started. I've always had mental health problems because I had a traumatic youth but my problems went so much worse when the pandemic was in full swing. I had failed my studies because the online classes really weren't for me and isolation really wasn't good for me either. My past was haunting me even more than usual, I felt completely worthless. I was really suicidal. Their music, their words, their online content, it kept me going. They had come in my life at the exact time I needed them. If they hadn't been there for me, I might not have been here anymore. There's the saying that BTS finds you when you need them the most and for me that was definitely true. I'm never looking back again, ARMY for life. This reaction was amazing, seeing your genuine emotion. It's always great to see how BTS touches people. And now it is also clear to see why your sons are drawn to BTS as well. With parents like yourself, they must be really wonderful, kind and positive boys as well. 💜

BTS are more than just a group they're a movement to make the world a better place, and make me want to be a better person. My husband of 30 years died last year right before our 30th anniversary. BTS saved my life. When I'm lost and alone they are there for me. I got my husband to an extent and my kids completely into them. A month before my husband died I got out of my comfort zone (autistic, social anxiety, introverted) I flew to LA to see them live at sofi for the 1st time. My husband was shocked and proud of me before he died. It was the greatest experience of my life. After he died they comforted me in my darkest times. I'm 50, and my friends look down on me and make fun of me for loving them. Even when I explain how they've kept me alive after so many deaths and tragedies befell me, my friends roll their eyes and laugh. When my sister got into BTS and tried to show them to me, I was not having it AT ALL. I am in my 40s, have never been into "boy bands," thought it was fluff, etc. etc. I listened to "real music" only and ignored her when she tried to show me anything. Granted, she hurt her case by only showing me sexy pictures which, for me, reinforced the pretty fluff stereotype. It took a random viewing of them chatting on a talk show to see how down-to-earth and normal they are. How unpretentious and endearing they were with each other. And in that talk, I heard they spoke at the UN with the message of speaking for yourself, knowing who you are and where you come from. Color me super intrigued. Then they took the stage and it was like seeing your new friends SLAY on live TV. To realize they were dancing like professionals and singing LIVE left me with my jaw open. And they went right back to being super chill, silly dudes. After that I was intrigued enough to look for more, having NO idea the rabbit hole before me. Video after video of meaningful lyrics, genuine guys, their endless hardships that they overcame. I've been ARMY for four years and I STILL haven't caught up to all their content. The discography is huge, their variety show is hilariously re-watchable, the fictional storyline is gripping and mindbending... I listen to other groups here and there nowadays, but I'm content just trying to keep up with these versatile and worthy young men, lol Note: I had to call my sister and apologize profusely, lol

I've been a casual fan since 2015 but i didn't truly get into them until 2019 when I was in university... I dove deep into their discogrogphy found what you did love their truthfullness in everything they did and what they stand for... They've given me comfort when I'm down (Which has happend on ocassion) and they've lifted my spirit to embracing my true self and confidence... BTS has basically given me back to me... I love rewatching their journey and seeing others notice what I did it warms my heart... Music to me truly has the power to heal and bring everyone together no matter if their's a barrier with language it's the feeling you get with the music that matters language is just the extra side dish..

What a great reaction! I cannot count how many times I have watched Taylor’s intro - she is also sweet and humble. She made this video to intro her boss and where she works to understand her love for BTS. I am 32 years old and discovered BTS at the end of 2019 when I was going through a very difficult and lonely time in my life. Thanks to them I slowly learned to accept my flaws, to love myself and I met many people who became dear friends. I will never get tired of saying that they literally saved my life. And I will always remember the words of an army when I complained about meeting them late. She/he told me, "BTS always comes into your life when you really need them, not a minute sooner, not a minute less. And you can heal from there."

There's a saying (not sure who first said it), You find BTS when you need them the most. That was me a little over 3 years ago when I first found them, thanks to my great-granddaughter. They were such a blessing and kept me company during the pandemic. There are so many great songs, and you'll find that their lyrics can be deep and though provoking, but thanks to ARMY, they're really good at leaving detailed comments that help me understand. I'm a 50 years old Army and mother of 8 children. When I met BTS, I was going to a hard time in my life : wealth problems and a lot of disillusions. BTS with their sincerity and all the efforts they put in everything they do gave me a new hope. It's still possible to go on, because there are still people who are good to the core. BTS inspires others to inspire others. You should see how us ARMYS are at concerts. We share our love for BTS and their message. We even share things and give gifts to each other. People fly over seas, staying at hotels to just see BTS in concert but also to experience the love of Army. There are always some haters within the fandom but true Army’s are good, caring people. sincerely when it comes to quote unquote k pop I only listen to BTS, I’ve tried other groups but they all are too similar to me. BTS is beyond k pop. I’m actually a rocker who gave BTS a chance and now I’m hooked

such a great reaction, guys! they truly are the most humble, down to earth people despite of how big they are. if you guys like to see them interact, i recommend you the channel suggarmy, for compilations on the group (funny, sweet, etc- i can give you recommendations if you want) and run bts episodes (their variety show) that are available on their yt channel (im sure army can recommend some great ones, if you are interested). btw, there is a saying in the fandom that says bts finds you when you need them the most. its tue for most of us :))) borahae

I have probably seen almost all the reactions to this documentary and I have never cried so much watching y’all watch this. I am a 47yr old mom of 3 and I am a HUGE BTS fan and my girls are forever teasing me about my love of BTS. It was incredibly beautiful watching y’all getting emotional and really seeing who they are as artists and as amazing human beings. There is a saying that BTS finds you when you need them most and I can say that has been so for me and I have been ARMY since 2017. I just wanted to thank you for this beautiful and genuine reaction, I have been an Army for 4 years, I am from Argentina, I am 42 years old and they have given me so much love and happiness. The road to these 10 years was not easy, they put many stones in the road but BTS and ARMY never gave up. It only remains to continue supporting them and wait until 2025 for them to return from their military service since it is mandatory in South Korea. My love to you, 💜I PURPLE YOU💜 (thanks for the subtitles since I don't know how to speak English, I only translate with google😅😅)

I highly recommend watching the rise of Bangtan, because that will give you a true history of btss and what they've been through and will make you appreciate everything you watch going forward because they've been through a lot and so have we as Army! It's their 10th year and right now are completing their solo works before entering mandatory military service. 2 are already serving and all plan to enlist by the eoy to reconvene in 2025. 18:24 you have already understood the essence of bts even though yall just got introduced to them. 😭💜💜💜💜 Yes they are the best advocates for self love beacause they lived through the comparisons and hate and people were constantly trying to push down bts from success. The other idol stans, kpop industry and k media were all trying to cover up bts's success. They as a group set their mind to push forward no matter what. I admire their patience as individuals and their determination and passion for music. Also yesss😭 the love the bts members have for each other is so inspiring. It made me a better and kinder person. They really see each other as brothers. BTS just released their memoir called Beyond the Story: the 10 year record of BTS. It's extreamly touching and tells you their journey and ALSO is a guide to their incredible and massive discography of the past 10 years. If you guys can get your hands on a copy of the book, it will make your navigation of bts easier.

52 year old army here. these boys are so special to so many. they have saved many MANY lives including mine and my daughters. cant wait to see your journey! we love to watch new fans fall in love with our boys. a suggestion i would give you is to ALWAYS choose videos with English subs, and dont be afraid to film longer videos. (6 million of us watched JK sleep for almost an hour last month!) and PLEASE watch videos if their live performances. as fabulous as their mvs are, there nothing - i mean NOTHING - like live BTS! Some like to film the mv, dance practice and live performance of a song in their videos. that a great way to see the whole picture. cant wait to see more! Borahae! 💜👍
