Awesome video, as an Iranian I just have to tell you Olivieh salad is not actually persian. It is a persian style of the Olivier Russian salad.

Thank you for your kind comment! Yes we know :) we included the Olivier salad because as you said, it is a Persian style of the Russian salad, and is now a staple food item in many Persian households 🙏🏻

به نظر من غذاهایی که انتخاب شده بودن خیلی خوب بودن. غذاهایی مثل قیمه و قورمه واسه بار اول شاید too much به نظر برسه واسه یه غیر ایرانی. کله پاچه که استریت آپ اگزاتیک فود😂

@@daemonsalad not for me, for a foreigner and as I said, "maybe". I think it's kind of a heavy khoresh and they might not be used to it and not really like it when they try it for the first time. That's just my opinion, doesn't mean that it's true!

These weren't the best Persian foods ,try Zereshkpolo , ghorme sabzi, fesenjoon, mirzaghasemi , types of kebabs, baghily khoresht , aloo mosama and etc

@@BoumProject just saying that when we try to show our culture we get to the stuff that really show it. You go to NY and visit the Statue of Liberty, not some Starbucks. Even in Iranian families when we have guests over we try to serve persian food. Dishes like الویه or olovie are like a side dish we serve because we don't want to worry about the taste, it's an easy dish. Olovie is like a persian fast food. In birthdays we make it for kids because they like the mayo and it's easy to eat. But a real Persian food is not one with mayo in it. Even a Google search could help you in choosing the food you want to present as iconic persian food

@@neginamrolahi5573 saying that a google search would have been helpful is unfortunate. The food we provided may not be traditional but they are intro Persian foods that we intentionally wanted to incorporate since this would’ve been part 1 of our food series. Two Iranians are behind this channel/project and the goal is to shine light on the beauty of the Persian culture and food. Knocking down fellow Persians for making this attempt is rather disheartening.

@@BoumProject not saying I don't respect my fellow Iranian's effort. I'm very thankful just because this video exists. All I'm trying to say is some of my European friends ,who visited Iran, were questioning me about the foods. As it was not what we promote in our country as iconic persian food.
