Of course we all did. You probably also shoved two of them together by pulling at the ends while they were intertwined, ate the ends of the thing you created and wondered how to eat the rest properly, before shoving it all into your mouth in one go. I know I did.

Colin Heeregrave geweldige suggesties! Ik wil graag Läkerol salmiak dropjes aan die suggesties toevoegen. Ik heb er denk ik 20 minuten naar moeten zoeken maar ik heb het weer gevonden! Geen Nederlandse drop maar wordt (of werd) wel in Nederlandse supermarkten bij de kassa verkocht

Dat is toch echt meer voor de 'acquired taste' ... zelfs ik ga nauwelijks voor trekdrop, de texture is gewoon f'ing weird in je mond ... zou hem eerder honingdrop of menthol kruisdrop aanraden, of een munten drop met pepermuntje (te eten als hardcandy).

I see this a lot when people around the world do these candy video's. I feel like the candy is seen like another snack that gets eaten in one go. While Dutch people do have a large variety of candy, they are very frugal in their way of eating candy. We often give kids only one candy at the time.

Hi im Linda from Brisbane Australia. I was born in Alkmaar but came to Oz when I was still a baby. I love watching your video. My Aussie husband likes dutch food but not licorice. My Oma used to send us dutch sweets twice a year. as they weren't available here. Now you can get it in the supermarkets

As a kid in Holland you're conditioned to eat 'drop' from a very young age. Not everybody likes all the different flavors, but my mouth was watering with all the ones you guys had in the video. Especially since I haven't had drop in half a year. Send me some haha 😜

Well, yes it is a real banana flavour and no it isn't. Have you heard of the Gros Michel, that's sort of where it's from; now we eat the Cavendish banana. While the Gros 'Big Mike' Michel banana is almost extinct.

I am Chinese, and live in Germany since 2008. A German friend back then showed me for the first time in my life the Katjes salted liquorice fish jelly...OMG...I have never tried anything so terrible😂😂😂 It is soooo weird and i can not even describe it...😂😳🤣
