Your way of zooming in those foods (especially that Bulalo) is way too appetizing, I would want to fly back home to have a bite on those. Watching a lot of vlogs and yours is unique as you put focus on details, well done in hooking your audience in those baits haha (unique Filipino foods are under-rated, but it's gaining its ground now, thanks to people who has an original experience and telling the world how good Filipino taste buds are)...

It is called ginataan because it is cooked with coconut milk. That is one among several vegetable stew that is cooked with coconut milk. There are also several sweet snacks made of coconut milk. Coconut is abundant in the PH so we have a lot of food made from coconut and its by product. Buko pandan is usually a dessert made from young coconut which is scraped to look like strings/ noodles. The green jello thing is actually made from pandan leaves submerged in coconut water and pandan jello, then boiled and then cooled and then they became like green jello but the flavor is pandan. IT IS DELICIOUS. Buko strings and pandan jello are then mixed with cream and condensed milk. Filipinos looooove that. Honestly, you ate the "delicious" type of Filipino food. In Filipino gatherings, foods like bulalo and buko pandan are usually the ones that are always consumed first. Thus, i am not surprised why you loved them. Ha ha. More!!! I am enjoying your videos.

Yes... Banana Flower is edible. At 1:15, that is a vegetable we called Sayote (Sa-yo-te). Ginataang Langka (Gi-na-ta-ang Lang-ka)., and yes, it's cooked in coconut milk. Baboy (Ba-boy) means Pig/Pork. Bulalo (Bu-la-lo), is a cow/beef bone marrow soup. It's nice to know you liked those. Buko Pandan is good, but I will recommend you to try Halo-Halo (Ha-lo-ha-lo) instead, but make sure to mix everything together (Halo-halo) before eating it.

rondelio Murillo sayote, chayote in english and is also called pear squash but not just squash. Squash and pumpkin is two of the four different type on the family of squash. I have a curious niece and had a lot of questions.

Those green things at the start are called chokos in Australia, when I was growing up in the 50's most houses had a vine, usually growing against the outside toilet. Not bad skinned steamed and served with butter, salt and pepper.
