Both of Dimash's parents are singers. His mom is a soprano and his dad sings high as well. When Dimash was younger he was a soprano and was not at all happy that he always had to sing with "the girls". I've followed Dimash for 7 plus years now and many vocal coaches have explained they believe he can hit these ridiculously high notes after having gone through puberty due to him having been vocally trained all the way through. He started vocal training at age 5 and continues to this day. He terms his style if singing as Neoclassical, blending classical tones with a myriad of genres including folk, pop, opera, RnB, Blues and even rap. His catalog is seriously long and he just keeps putting out new songs constantly. He has a worldwide fan base (he calls his fans Dears) who travel the globe to see him in concert & he regularly sells out arenas all over the world. He has a reported 7.2 octave range & sings all genres from Opera to pop & everything inbetween. He turned down a place in the Astana Opera House as he wanted to pursue a neo-classic/crossover style, which he does to perfection.
