You put the rear shocks on upside down. The reason for the Black plastic cover is for dirt and rocks. Looks at the factory raptor rear shocks and you'll see.

$30k XLT is like 5 years old, of which you can find raptors that are around the same price. OTD for 4WD supercab XLT is nearly 46k

The Headlights will vary on your trimmed F150. If you have a Lariat or higher, the stock lights are already LED. But, yeah! Definitely should have addressed the bumper.

I bought my 2017 lariat from the dealership with that grille, bumper, wheel covers, and some raptor like stickers. They build different style trucks for fun. I love it and after 2 years I still get compliments. I just wish they put those shocks on too. Lol. Thnx for the video.

Oh, I forgot. They put on OE raptor wheels on it too with 34” tires. I added s&b cold air, borla cat back and 1 1/2” spacers. My truck is a 3.5 EB which I love so it obviously doesn’t sound as good as a 5.0 but I’m extremely happy

Stumbled across this video looking for something else and I have to say, I love the front bumper. I've been eyeing one like that for a couple months now to replace the prone-to-rust OEM bumpers and I haven't jumped on it because I was afraid of the fitment for my '14. Looks like it will fit fine without the need for stupid wide flares and cleans the body up a bit...I also love the fact that most of them are fiberglass or mostly fiberglass so never have to worry about it rusting out again.

First class video, great job! I love this idea and would love to build an F-150 diesel Raptor clone. I think the 35s filled up the wheel wells and looked a whole lot better but I understand why you didn't go that way. Regearing is expensive!

Those Roush Raptors are ideal for us who want the V8 Exhaust with the Raptor look. I Honestly prefer their front grille over the often duplicated OEM Gen 2 counterpart! I Love the idea of just doing this to a F-150! Let's you add some of your own touches, instead of somethings you might not want as factory standard.

Individuals show the letter swaps on KZfaq, but for vendors/businesses (like American Trucks) it would be extremely risky and open them up to litigation.

How does the Fox suspension effect the payload and towing capacities? One of the biggest reasons to choose the regular F150 over the Raptor is the substantially higher capacities of the F150.

I think it is a winner. Most people buy the Raptor for the looks. They rarely go off road with it. So for some who wants a cool looking truck to pull a fishing boat or look cool on while riding around. This the ticket and a lot cheaper

I thoroughly enjoy your F150 videos, as it gives me ideas on mine. I have the 2013 F150 STX 4X4 stock with the 5.0 coyote motor.. I have recently purchased a 2" front leveling kit. I really want to install 33X12.5's all the way around, and am having trouble wrapping my brain cell around "offset". I like the way the tires look on this rig and was wondering if the +6 offset like I think you stated here would be right for my rig. I also have fender flares to install and I'm considering mudflaps as well. Thanks and keep up the great videos.

Thanks for the kind words Wayne! I believe a 33x12.5 with a +6 would look great on your truck! Since you have a 2013 crash bars/rubbing will not be an issue however if you do go with front mudflaps you might encounter some rubbing there-albeit very minor. Mine says Ford on my '08. The grill kit came with the "F" and "R" . Cant come that way ordered due to copyrights. Looks alot better when you change the letters though.

Diego Martinez of course people upgrade their trucks and wheels. but for god sakes leave the grill alone it's screaming I want to be a raptor I want to be a Raptor. I will sacrifice sound over any kind of higher tq and hp numbers . The V6 is better it makes more torque and horsepower than the previous 6.2.. you make it sound that I'm against people upgrading their trucks.. but there's a difference from upgrading your truck and then making it look like a Raptor . And that's what's going on in this video they're doing both I'm against some of you guys making your V6 Mustangs look like Shelby's makes me sick sorry can't help I'm a car Enthusiast and think that things should be done the way they were born in the car world

Brady Stanga I just don't think making a normal f150 look like a raptor is the same as slapping gt or cobra badges on a v6 mustang. Also the cost for this build is under $40k. Add a supercharger for $10k more and you're still well under the price of raptor and now this will outperform it.

I have a 2015 f150 super cab. Those didn't have crash bars and ford got in trouble with the crash test people for it, but I can run 35 's with a 2.5 inch level because of it. "I win!" unless I get hit in a front offset collision of course, then I lose my left leg.

Good job. But i like to freak people out. I would have done that to a 2 door shortbed. And a mild rebuild of the 5.0 with mustang shelby parts. Turns a 440 hp V8 into 575 tire melting hp. but thats only a dream for many as parts cost too much $$$$.

I was able to do all those upgrades for almost under 2500 but I had already done the all terrains and leveling kit before I did my over haul to make my 5.0 XLT look like a raptor
