Amiga Music: Random / Mixed Compilation #1

Күн бұрынBack with another hour+ of choice Amiga tunes, mixed it up a little this time round. First 4 or 5 tracks are sort of breakbeat techno of the 135-140 bpm range before we lead into some more aggressive breaks. Second half is more your traditional techno with an acid track or two thrown in. Hope you enjoy.
The Amiga is a series of computers released by C=ommodore from 1985 to 1993, all Amigas used the same sound chip, an 8bit, 4channel, upto 28khz PCM called "Paula".
Winuae sound settings used:
Channel mode: Stereo
Stereo separation: 30%
Interpolation: Sinc
Frequency: 44100
Audio filter: A1200

Thanks dokaroth, glad you like the compilations I upload :) The cool thing is that there are sooo many awesome tunes on Amiga but not enough peeps uploading them in tracker format. I will upload as many as I can but I have hundreds, maybe thousands of upload worthy material, may take awhile I'm thinking.

Really good stuff! This is a nice gem of a set list that deserves more views. I like that there's just enough variation within each track and between them to keep things interesting without losing cohesiveness.

The electro / house track at 22:16 is really good. I love the way it evolves - it could have been on one of Warp's Artificial Intelligence albums.

Ah, a tune by Mark "TDK - The Dark Knight" Knight! Old buddy of mine from back in the day. Finally managed to catch up with him at a couple of Amiga shows back int he day. Also known as The Mad Fiddler. Awesome chap.

Hi again, did you ever find that "Calibra" mod? If not, well I did find it :) It was part of the music in Scala MM400 and was composed by Nuke aka Spaceman (Martin Iveson). You can download from here --> amp.dascene.net/detail.php?detail=modules&view=6907 Scroll down the list, it is called "colibri" click on it's name to download.
