Never heard anything like this. I was watching this on tv when it was first on. My parents, both big opera fans, looked at each other in astonishment, much like the judges. It was such an unbelievable revelation to hear this little child sing a classic song like this with so much power and passion

I've seen this video, I can't count how many times. What is as amazing as her singing is, also how focused she is on the song. The audience cheering, the judge is up and down in astonishment, but there is Amira, singing, not missing a note, word, or emotion. She's not just singing words she's a part of the song. 9 years old, the biggest day of her (young) life.God Bless you Amira.

Not exact words, but something like that. Their would not be reference if she was last. I will say the other contestant had nice voice too.

Hearing her voice is as achingly soothing in 2020 as it was in 2013. We need her now more than ever. I do wish we had English subtitles of the banter that went on before and after. This girl tells them she never had a singing lessons in her life, she just listened to the songs she likes and magicly is able so sing them with a voice full of emotions. The judge Gordon said she has an old soul. Wow now I know what angels look and sound like.

I love and admire that her self confidence is so absolute, she is fearless walking onto that stage? Pretty impressive for a nine year old! Well, she WAS 9 at this performance, in August 2013. She's now 14, and about 162 cm tall, and totally gorgeous - and her voice has improved greatly. Still unreal . . .

agree that the level of her talent is...out of this word! and could produce a WC singer. that she may become WC...if she studies... the performance was amazing...for a 9-year-old at this level...I would agree that she is WC... but to state an open-end WC...is not correct here...not only on the show but... such statements are not good for her, in the long run. we need to be positive with young people...YES...but we also need to be real... an amazing show, but we need to keep it real also

I have watched this numerous times. Listened to a little Opera on occasion. Much more now since Amira arrived on scene. I noticed on the later performances on this show the judges or hosts upgraded there wardrobe. You knew they had an idea that the viewing audience was going to be bigger after this prodigy was discovered. What a talent. Will be one of the best ever. With Andre Rieu she brought people to tears. Awesome. I am a fan

I read everyone's concern in comparing Amira's talent with other lyric singers, my conclusion in this useless effort of many is that even though Amira is not the most technical and qualified lyric singer in the world, as some critics suggest, she is the only one I I would pay a ticket to watch, the first one I look for on the internet when I feel the need for peace and reflection, and this is what matters to me, the rest are fragile, empty analyzes and in my opinion useless ...

I so love Amira's voice,so pure and to think she learnt off utube all by herself,as good as any performer,so little and at aged 9 better!! I have listened 50 times or more over the years and each time she brings tears to my eyes! Dad this ones for you! Miss ya Matey!! See you in heaven!!
