Күн бұрынIt was on the sets of Prakash Mehra’s Blockbuster SHARABI that we met with Amitabh Bachchan. Mumbai is always hot and humid and Amitabh was wearing a long sleeved fleece top. The scene that was being filmed is on the screen for only a minute, but it took the whole morning to film it.
We sat patiently to get to interview the Big B. Our crew had flown from Vancouver to Mumbai for this interview. Once he sat down, the interview was over in no time.
Amitabh had just been to Vancouver a year prior to our interview and he did not have a good experience during his show here. He was a little on the quieter side. He was sub-dude but not rude.

You know people can joke about doordarshan all they want, but its anchors from there and those times that truly knew the meaning of subtlety, respect and elegance. Fuck Zoom, Etc and the likes.

Thats nothing. At one point of time, Govinda had 67 films signed at the same time. But, it was a different era. Many projects used to get cancelled and many never released because producers ran out of money.

Fantastic! Amitabh Bachchan always has had a unique personality. Such poise, intelligence - razor sharp memory, presence of mind, usage of words while speaking and off course, his towering presence and voice, makes him class apart. The Superstar that he has been for past 4 decades, AB was always worthy of that. We see what a method actor and persistent worker he has been on sets. Hats off to Bachchan sa'ab! We can learn many things from Amitabh Bachchan.

It's very difficult to forget young Amitabh of ZANJEER, DON, DEEWAAR, KHUDDAAR, SHARAABI etc. Amitabh, the old man is good enough but who won't say our youth is that charming heaven where we wish to stay on eternally and think of old age with pathos indeed. The music of blazing agony in my heart, however, plays a sweet sad tune as I deeply feel out of the huge rainbow in the eastern sky of Bollywood the vigorous youth will emerge to help us get back those glorious days of Indian cinema.

Always the graceful and handsome Amit ji. His aura has not changed a bit even after so many years. This is so nostalgic. Watching likes of KC Dubey, Janaki Das and Pinchoo kapoor outside of a movie is a rarity!

In the beginning he seemed to be arrogant, no smile and serious mood and very short answers. In the Flow of the Interview his attitude melted and some smile was seen. He is and he behaved like a superstar

He was my favourite actor when I stayed in India, The whole day long riksjaws used to advertise the new films by playing the songs loudly so the whole town could hear it, I knew the songs by heart, I loved his films too

You can call it hindi or urdu i don't mind. See the clarity of accent and difference between 80s 90s and today's interviews one word hindi and 5 words English. Great Amitabh Bachchan and his father poet , writer they both were speaking writing , reading pure urdu and hindi .That time was one nation. @@sagaronline265 , Dear Online Sagar, Pakistan is not a secular country, but I guess you already knew that; My point was not to compare India and Pakistan because there really isn't any comparison between the two countries... not at the moment at-least. I'm still surprised when I see Indians and Indian media ONLY talking about Pakistan as if it's a big gigantic monster that's going to eat India up any moment. My request would be to all Indians who hate Pakistan, is to please get over Pakistan. Pakistan is not a threat to India. Modi/RSS is a threat to India. I was simply sharing my sympathetic feelings for a nation that used to be a place where people of all ethnic and religious backgrounds could live in peace and harmony. My hope was to reflect sadness at the troubles of my neighbor, instead of celebrating it, which is sad to say, what India does every time Pakistan suffers. Brother, we need to get over each other and move on with our live and focus on our problems, and learn to live like good neighbors. Like Imran Khan said, we can't change our neighbors, let's accept that and work to make each other better and not worse.

A country can be classified as a Hindu, Jewish, Christian, Sikh, or Muslim nation. It cannot however classify itself as an anti specific religion... that is something that Hitler did, and Modi/BJP/RSS are now experimenting with it in India... and that is what my original statement was highlighting. Unlike your statement, which attacks and judges all Pakistanis, my statement was pointing out a difference between good and bad people. Every nation, religion, and ethnicity has good and bad people... please realize that! I can see how Modi and his goons have turned people into blind hate mongers! @@furtychowdhury1954 Yes, you're right. Minorities, such as Hindus and Ahmadis, have suffered in Pakistan, but that is not because of a specific "state" policy. As a state, Pakistan respects all minorities by law. There is however a small and loud group of un-educated (jahil log) people that have committed crimes against minorities. The written law does not support or protect these idiots and Pakistani government, media and people are very clear about that as well. In contrast, the Indian government is creating religious discrimination by its very policies (CAA, NRC, revoked article 370 in Kashmir). Please, please brother, just open your ears and listen to what I am really saying... I'm not anti-India or anti-Hindu. In fact, most of my friends are Indians and Hindus... I participate in their home events... they're like family to me, and they treat me with love and respect as well. So please, just listen to my point. I'm not trying to insult you or disrespect India or Hindus. I love all people, but please try to understand my point... The "current" Indian government is discriminating against its own people based on their religious beliefs, and that's a clear fact. I'm NOT saying that India is a bad nation... I'm saying that the "CURRENT" government of Modi is bad, that's all!
