That "intruder cat" one made me feel very relieved and got a laugh out of me.

My dad has a story for this: Back when he was in his twenties his mom, my grandmother, was suffering from complications of severe rheumatism and something called bechterews disease, which basically confined her to a wheelchair, for the last years of her life, while her health slowly deterioated. It was the first week of a new job my dad had started and he knew he had to make a good impression on his boss. Still when he woke up on only his third day on the job, he had an incredibly strong feeling that he should go see his mom that day. My dad has never been religous or spiritual, but he can't explain where that feeling came from. Reluctantly he called in sick and went to see his mother. The way he tells it, as soon as he saw her, he knew she didn't have more than a few hours left. He immediatly called his two brothers, having to struggle to get a hold of them (before cellphones) and even had to yell at one of them to convince him he was serious. She held on for about 4 hours, just long enough for the last brother to make it there, and died surrounded by her three sons, just after what would've been my dads lunch break, had he gone to work.

I've had so many, but The biggest one was on January 16, 1994. I had a c-section and my baby was staying in the hospital. As I was leaving, I told the nurse to please move him away from the window because when the earthquake hit, I didn't want the glass to hurt the baby. Nurse, my mom and sister all laughed, but I was dead serious. Got home, changed the cordless phone to a regular one, and posted the hospital phone numbers on the wall. The next day California Northridge earthquake hit, the hospital where I was supposed to deliver at NICU collapsed, and the hospital that I went to survived with very little damage and the babies from the other hospital were being transferred.

I was six years old when I started having severe headaches. My parents kept taking me to the pediatrician and a neurologist. Both dismissed my symptoms as normal things kids deal with. Eventually, right after my seventh birthday, I got such a bad headache and had to come home from school. I started vomiting and my parents took me back to the pediatrician and the neurologist. They both dismissed my symptoms and the fact I couldn’t walk and told my parents I only had a bad virus. My parents knew something wasn’t right so they took me to a children’s hospital where I was diagnosed with brain cancer. The story doesn’t end there. After two years of many different chemotherapies and doctors pressuring them to do things their way, my parents finally listened to their gut and took me to Texas where I was treated by some of the best doctors in the world who finally got the results we and everyone else had been praying for. My tumor had shrunk over 50%.

That cat intruder one was one of the most terrifying, anxiety filled stories of my life.

Not me, but my dog! When I was 14 I had a usual route every time I would take my Spitz for a walk. She knew it well too and was very good on the leash. She would always stay just a few feet ahead of me, matching my pace. One day she suddenly jumped up on me, almost knocking me over, as we neared a road intersection. I regained my balance and bit my tongue as I thought she was just feeling playful. As I tried to get back on the way she leapt up on me again, this time fully leaving the ground and basically two handed punching me in the chest. I land on my backside in utter shock. I open my mouth to begin to scold her, but before I can a huge, red pickup truck comes barreling down the street, hits the curb, and continues on the sidewalk while knocking over multiple mailboxes.

I pretty much got the opposite of this, I could blunder through a shootout and a building collapse, then get home and eye the milk suspiciously because I can't remember how old it is.

I still remember the one time I was a teen and I was with my parents in our car, going back home, under really heavy rain. My father was stubborn and drove, even under low visibility due to the rain, and, at one point, I pretty much yelled at him to stop the car. He, surprisingly enough, listened to me, only for us to see a tree fall right before us. He had to take a detour back home, but Holy Moly.

Fourth story: Good doggo. People who say that cats and dogs can sense other peoples intentions, they're right about that.

Speaking of Story 6, one time I was locking home, just about home, when a woman coming from another Street approached me and asked me to pretend that I was with her. Apparently she said she was being followed. Since I was close to my place, and my place is surrounded by a wall of bushes, we ducked into our yard, and waited about 10 to 20 minutes until she felt it was safe to move on. Never did see her again, but never did have the police show up either (which was my own concern), so I have to assume that her concerns were genuine. Big leap of faith for her too, considering that I was just another random guy that she had never met before.

ALWAYS trust the doggo. . .always.

Out on the farm in the summer, I went outside at night. All the hair went up on the back of my neck! Something like electricity was surging up and down my back! Out loud I whisper, "I'm being hunted". Quickly I ran to the barn and rang the triangle which calls the mini horses into their stalls. All 12 little sweethearts came scampering in. I locked them in their stalls, and shut up the barn. I had 2 large horses that didn't fit in this mini sized barn, (they had an open style lean too). There was nothing I could do for them, but they were so big, and one was very aggressive to dogs and would often charge them, so I thought they would be ok. I ran into the house, and told everyone to stay inside tonight. Next morning we found the mountain lion foot prints in the mud. The aggressive big horse had 4 slash marks across her chest. Mountain lions have like 40 mile territories, so we never saw it again, but we always put the mini horses away even on nice nights.

This happened to my mother, and it wasn't her "something is not right here" feeling, instead, it was her dog. This dog was super chill, totally not aggressive, and frankly, a bit of a coward. Which is odd. He was half Great Dane and half Rottweiler. He was the size of a Great Dane but had the markings and build of a Rottweiler. Basically he looked like a gigantic Rottweiler. Her was always excited and happy to meet new people but when a door to door "salesman" came the dog spent the hole time she was talking to this guy growling at him. This got my mother to put her guard up and she asked him to leave, which he did. A few hours later the police and paramedics came in down the street. Turned out the guy had gotten into the neighbor's house and raped and seriously beat the lady who lived down the street. That was a very good dog.

Not sure if this counts, but here it goes. One day on a Sunday, when our family was sitting down to eat, he said "This might be the last time we'll ever be having breakfast in our home." My mom got mad for him ruining the mood, there was an argument, etc etc, it was an absolute shitshow. From then on, he was pretty nervous and way more careful than usual, which is pretty out of place for him. Four days later, Russia invaded Ukraine. Our city got taken in the first day. Thankfully, we were able to escape because my dad already had everything prepared. We're living in Germany now while he stayed in Ukraine. I'm forever thankful.

One time I was home alone and heard something so I went and got my airsoft gun (they look realistic and I thought I would just scare off whatever was there with the noises it makes when its not loaded with pellets) and I saw two guys with knives, they thought the gun was real and droped the knives and I saw they had zip ties so I told them to tie themselves together while the police came, turns out they were human traficers which is why they had zip ties and if I had not goten my airsoft gun they would have probably overpowered me.

My brother's first wife gave me bad vibes, and I couldn't figure out why. She was pretty, smart, and had a lot of interests in common with my brother. The only thing I could figure was that she was Wiccan, and I was ashamed of myself for my bigotry. Then, while my brother was deployed to Afghanistan, she cheated on him with his best friend.

When I was young in my parents room there was this portrait of their wedding above their bed which was not the thing that threw me off... But something about it chilled down my spine for maybe 1 or 2 years... One day my father decided to take it down because of how I acted near it and sure enough that portrait fell as soon as my father touched it... In summary I felt wrong about the portrait and in the end could have seriously hurt my parents... (The painting was heavy and could cause some damage😨)

This one isn’t a “bad feeling” situation but more like a Miracle. As a little kid I spent a lot of my time in the hospital with my dad because he was an unhealthy guy after he got into a serious car accident and broke his leg in 28 places. He had to get a prosthetic hip too. He was in a coma for over a year and I waited every single day for him to wake up. I stayed at the hospital by myself and the nurses helped watch me. My mom didn’t care and neither did anybody else. I prayed to God he would wake up. For some reason, the thought popped in my head “ I think he will wake up if they give him a tracheotomy.” Now, I was nine years old at this time. I swear on my kids that this happened. I was adamant to all the nurses and the doctors saying “ he needs a tracheotomy he can’t breathe” and everybody wondered including me how I knew what this was as a 9 year old. A few days later they wound up giving him one because they realized I was actually right. He woke up a couple days after. To this day I honestly think it was God. I’m not religious by any means but this is the only time I can say I truly beloved there was a higher power. Nothing like that has ever happened to me since but I swear on my life this is real. I’m not really sure how it woke him up but it did.. he died six years later of a drug overdose. That was the 12th time he died. On the way to the hospital after his accident they revived him eight times and then another three at the hospital. But the 12th time he didn’t come back. He wasn’t the greatest dad ever at all but he was the nicer parent out of the two. My mother is a literal psychopath. Extremely abusive physically and mentally. She used to let my brothers friend SA and molest me. Starting from 9 to 15. I met my fiancé at 15 and moved into his parents house because they knew if I didn’t, my chances at life probably wouldn’t have been that great. That’s the only reason the SA stopped. Because I left. They’re my actual family in my eyes. They took me in (after lots of trying to get their son to break it off with me because of my families reputation) and I’ve been a part of their family ever since. They judged me before they got to know me which I forgive because they were just watching out for their son. But once they got to know me they realized I wasn’t a bad person. Just a lost kid with severe mental health problems due to my upbringing. They got me help and changed my life man. 16 years and two kids later and I couldn’t be more thankful/happy for the life I have now.

so 2 years earlier i was going to school, my grandmother was driving to the school, and i noticed the sky was green, i told my grandmother, she didn’t believe me, moments later, a tornado happened.

Story #10 (Chop saw) reminded me of when I did CNC machining for a few years. One day, I set up a block of steel in a vice to start the first round of stock milling. The vice wasn't holding much of the metal, but it was still above the minimum to hold onto. After the cutting tool made a few passes, I decide to shut the screen door. Not a required practice, but it keeps metal shavings and coolant splash in the machine. As soon as the sliding door clicks, a massive BANG hits the door, almost breaking the plastic screen on the door. The cutting tool caught too much stock and rippEd it out of the vice, sending a 10 pound block of steel straight toward where I was standing. Not sure if it would have hit my chest or face, but I would've been severely injured either way.

A couple summers back me and my cousin went to a night swim (it was around 4am at the time. We had done this time and time again and there were Rarely any people around which was normal in our small village.) We were walking home and decided to make a stop at a closed store front. (Which again was normal for us) We had a clear view to a road which most truckers and night drivers took. We decided to lighten any truckers night by waving and just being goofy next to the road. We did this for a while but due to the lack of cars and being tired already we decided to wait for one last car and head home. We hear a car driving closer by the road and as it passes by we wave and started being goofy. The driver slowed down and I started feeling weird so I ushered my cousin to leave and we start walking off. What stung me as weird was the fact that the driver sped off once we started leaving.. I had a weird feeling and I told my cousin to book it. We ran to a nearby school and hid in some pushes. My gut feeling was right. He had speed off and done a loop to drive to where we would have been walking just a second ago. We stayed hidden in the bush and that same car kept looping around the area. Clearly looking for us. We stayed hidden until we were certain he had left. Never saw that car again. The next morning we asked my parents if they knew anyone who owned the car (it’s a small village and everybody knows everyone) Nobody knew and it was safe to bet the driver was not from around here. I still think what would have happened if I didn’t trust my gut.. We stopped going alone unless we had a group with us..

Once I was walking home from a friend's house after dark, and I noticed a dude following me, so I kept walking, and he kept following, I had a feeling he was going to try to attack me, so I pulled out me pocket knife, and flicked it open as loud as I could. He turned away and walked off.

Back on May 3, 2021 I was taking pictures of a bad thunderstorm that was rolling in. I live near Dallas, Texas so this is a pretty common occurrence. As I was outside, it *very suddenly* got very quiet outside and the birds and bugs all stopped making noise and the air became completely still. I run inside cause it freaked me the hell out and an EF0 tornado tore up our fence, messed up our roof and killed several trees.

Once at night, I had this awful energy, the hardest feeling something was wrong. Shrugged it off as nothing and went to sleep. That morning I learned a train had crashed not to far from my house

I was once walking home from school after science club when I saw a blue van. It didn't seem to strange because I thought someone might be picking up thier kid. I started to get suspicious when nobody went up to it and it started to drive but parked in the middle of the road.I start to walk down my block and turn the corner, while also trying to make signals like waving my arms to make sure the person new I new they were watching me. As soon as the van is out of sight, I ran as fast as ivould home, shut the door, and peek out the window. When I look out the window, I see the blue van coming the way that I just walked. I don't know what might have happened if I walked instead of ran.

I had one a few years ago. I was stopped at a four way red light. A two lane road crossed a 4 lane highway. The two lane road had no turn lanes. I had to turn left onto the highway and the 18 wheeler across from me was turning right. I thought about pulling into the middle of the highway or even trying to beat the 18 wheeler, but decided against it. I was waiting for the 18 wheeler to finish his turn so I could go when this F-150 truck ran the red light and hit that larger truck. I stuck around to give a statement to the cops and was late to work, but if I had tried to beat that 18 wheeler in turning, I would have been hit. I'm glad I listened to my instinct.

As someone who's been the girl in the 5th story but really was being carried home safely by her bf and his friend, I'm really grateful for people like OP. When I was in Year 11, my bf invited me to a house party which was a 15 minute walk from my parents' house. I decided I'd sneak out and go by walking there myself (while having him on speakerphone of course). We grew up in a rural town and my parents' house is in one of the new 'estate villages' being built to expand the town, meaning on one side of the street it was lush homes and then the other side is empty paddocks full of tall grass and rural highway stretching for miles. Got to the party and enjoyed the night without issue, but was incredibly shitfaced because it was only the second time I'd ever had alcohol. When it was time to go home, bf and friend were going to be picked up by friend's mum and were astonished that I was simply just going to walk back home in my current state. Friend's mum didn't know me and didn't really like him being around girls (long story, weird mum) so they couldn't ask her to give me a ride home and instead decided they were going to walk me home themselves at least. I'm a runner when I'm drunk and surprisingly agile so they walked on either side of me and held my hands so I wouldn't bolt or fall. Anyways, fast forward to the very last stretch of road along the rural highway before we turn on to my street, and a car pulls up next to us and the woman driving rolls down her window and asks me if I'm okay and if I know these boys. I confirm that I am and do and I live just around the corner. She once again confirms if I'm sure and says that she can stick around to make sure I get inside safe. I thanked her but said it was no worry at all and I trusted these boys with my life. I know I wasn't in danger, but the fact the kind lady stopped when she saw a suspicious situation brings me relief because I know if I had been in trouble, I wouldn't be abandoned by my community. I know she's also keeping an eye out wherever she goes and doing good work. It's been 4 years and my bf and I still think about that lady and hope she's doing well. We moved away from that town long ago and have a lot of bones to pick with it, but certainly the community had your back when shit got real.

I Have a story for this. On November 18th, 2022. I wen’t to school. Normal day so far. But when i got to My success class, i instantly felt An insane amount of Fear. I asked to leave and they let me. I felt something bad was gonna happen, like something really bad. When i went back in, the class was normal. But throughout the day that feeling just stuck with me. When i got home my dad told me im going to my cousins house. On the way he was on the phone and he was going to a hospital for some reason. I thought that it was strange. When i got back my dad told me to sit down and that he needed to tell me something. I was thinking in my head : ` ` Did someone die or something? ` ` ..I was right. My grandpa, a Veteran and fought off cancer, died. He was a great man.

I never figured out what was wrong and I think I was wrong for the feeling of it, but one time, I woke up one morning to no cats on top of me. I shrugged it off and I thought maybe the cats were sleeping with my daughter today. I got out of bed but I got this weird feeling. Not a regular one either, my brain was telling me to investigate everything, and it was really intense. I just couldn't ignore the feeling... The morning just felt wrong. It felt... upside-down. One thought I had that did go away was that it was still evening, but I saw the light out of my window knowing it was winter and knew that couldn't be it. The ominous feeling eventually got worse, and I woke up my daughter, telling her I had this horrible feeling. She woke up and noticed it for herself, but it turns out nothing actually was wrong that day. It's just weird to look back on... I may have dodged a bullet by doing something that I did, or maybe there actually was something wrong and I just couldn't figure it out. Whatever happened, everything else was fine and nothing out-of-the-ordinary happened, and I don't think it will.

I was walking home alone one night after seeing my friend off on a train back to her town. I was walking down an old street of mine when an older man stepped out of his garden (im in the uk so the gardens are pretty hidden) and told me he couldn't get into his house. his garden was pitch black and I felt uneasy. I was on the phone to my aforementioned friend at the time. I started talking loudly and she was confused until I made some excuse to the man and hightailed it out of the street. I turned back and I could see him watching me. I explained what happened when I felt safe on a main road and she was just as freaked out as me. I am usually an easygoing person ready to help anyone when they need it but something about that man and that house triggered my fight or flight for the first time ever. this was around 6 years ago and it still gives me goosebumps to this day when I have to go past that house.

When my brother and I were sitting on the wall I had a feeling that something bad is going to happen to my brother. I turned around just in time to catch him as he was to fall down. Years later he saved the old lady after having a similar feeling. That is just one of the reasons why I trust my gut. If it tells me to not believe someone, I won't. So many times the people had proven themselves as baddies after I had a weird feeling about them when meeting them for the first time.

Long Time ago I lived in a small neighborhood that was basically in the middle of a huge forest in florida, me and my dad always went to walk on the street outside, we were walking and behind us there was a guy with no shirt, no shoes, no socks, his fly was open, my dad told me to walk a bit faster and no to look back, I did take a small peek though and this guy looked stoned out of his mind, and I think i saw a sharp object in his hand, thankfully we got home quickly and never saw this guy again.

Oh, I got one! I was in my class one day and we're sitting in silence waiting for class to start. The class is usually very loud, so i was very confused. I whisper to my friends: "It's quiet here. Too quiet..." and not even 2 seconds later, the fire alarm goes off. There was no drill planned that day at all. Even the fire department came to inspect the school. Thankfully no one was hurt. Me and my friends still joke about it to this day.

The night before my paternal grandfather died I couldn’t sleep and had a bad feeling about him (he had been in the hospital for a few months), my mom told me she also felt the same that night

My oxygen level was in the 70s once, I almost couldn't breathe. I tried getting up to use the bathroom and it felt like my breath was being drawn out from my chest. It's almost like I was drowning on land. Can't believe that a cold could do something like this

I’ve got one. This was probably about 11 or so years ago and I was headed home from school. Part of the path I usually take goes through a wooded trail area and for some strange reason I had a really bad feeling about going through that particular segment of the trail. The next day they were talking about how a cougar had killed a person on that segment of trail at the time that I would have been there, had I taken said trail

I guess now I know why my pulmonologists was so worried about my oxygen levels during sleep. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and my oxygen levels during sleep when it was discovered were 60%-30% saturation. I have a CPAP now and I get better rest. I also don't worry about my kids finding me unconscious with strong possibility of brain damage/deceased due to lack of oxygen as long as I use my machine regularly.

My story is basically the exact same as the golden retriever one but I'm a male and the predator was actually a group of predators.Forgot to mention that my dog was a Huskey instead,but acted exactly how the Golden retriever did.

The one at 4.40 reminded of an incident I heard about some years ago of a woman who saw 2 girls helping a 3rd girl who looked like she was drugged and asked the girls if she was Ok. The Girls said, she will be ok she is our cousin. The Womans reply She is my Daughter

Not me, but my dad. His brother, still in the womb, had a malformed heartbeat in overdrive. He noticed this, and alerted the doctor. The doctor, being lazy, did nothing, and passed it off as just another kid who thinks something was wrong when there isn't. and the next Monday, when my grandma was set to give birth, he came out stillborn. To this day, he still has a savior complex in his head. That, was the story of my dead Uncle Justin. That happened 37 years ago, on counting. Rest in Peace Justin. 😭

Always trust your gut feeling. Even though it comes out to be wrong, keep trusting it. Even if you cant understand, your conscious and your brain understands that there is something wrong.

Her is one: My mom, sister and I were on a our way back home form a doctors visit. And I had a bad feeling like there was something wrong, and we needed to slow down. My mom did, and not 5 minutes later there was a car that drove out on to the highway. That was hit by large truck if we had not slowed down that would have been us.

I've had this feeling before but in my situation i wasn't the hero i could have been. we were riding some 4 wheelers with a party of another 4 4 wheelers behind us and my mom was driving while I was passenger. we are on this trail and everything is fine until we get to this one narly part that shouldn't be this bad. as it turns out, a water stream had been going through for at least a month just following the length of the trail for abt 20 ft. my mom goes over it perfectly but damn I was freaked by it, this is where my gut tells me to tell my mom to stop so I can stop and warn the others before they come to that part of the trail but I don't. we drive up a bit then stop and wait... too long. the person behind us. my stepdad as passenger and my step sister driving. we waited until finally one of the other people in the party comes up to get us. he says that they got hurt. only minor bruising to my sister but my step dads arm was broken. I regret not telling my mom to stop immediately so I could warn them. always listen to your gut!

When i tell you something happened 5 minutes after i watched this video TLDR: Gut feeling saves me from a potential fire On a normal sunday night, i'd usually lazily watch youtube videos while snacking on something, and today i was feeling like making instant noodles. So i go to the kitchen, fill my kettle with water, put it on the stove and i was about to light it when i felt something isn't right. I brushed it off because it probably was because i watched this video and that i was feeling a bit paranoid. So i light the stove and am about to walk away, just then i get the urge to turn it off. So i do and what do you know, a tissue, a towel and a piece of parchement paper caught on fire. Thank god i didn't panic and put the fire out, but if i had walked away, i could've set the house on fire or something. (And before people ask why i'd turn on the stove and just walk away, it never lit up that much, it was on low heat too)

One person noted, "I don't know what to call it." It's intuition. Always listen to it.

I heard my dad over dosing im his room. Went to the bathroom and heard this strange breathing noise. I never walk in my dads room without permission. I know better its a respect thing. But this time I had to take the chance. And I was right. Walked in his face was blue struggling to breathe woke my stepmother up screaming at her shaking her. Called 911 started shaking my dad. At first I couldn't feel nothing. I didn't know what to feel then I just lost it. First time my little brother ever seen me cry. Long story short he's still alive I saved him both times and his clean and a way better man now. He got clean last year maybe a year and a half im 19 my birthday is in July I was 16 when this happened the first time 17 the second time.

Going ‘wrath of god’ mode shows how stupid/bad a situation could be

9:35 I had something like this when I was learning to weld. I was welding flux-core, which generates a lot of sparks. I felt my knee starting to get very warm when I heard someone say, "Hey dude, your leg is on fire!" Turns out I had set my prosthetic leg on fire. Not my pant, my LEG. If you have a foam cover on your fake leg, remove it before welding. It took a fire extinguisher to put the leg out.

I've had a bunch of times in my life when I get a sudden "DANGER!" feeling, all hairs stood on end and all that. it's generally nothing as dramatic as all this, just immediately stumble in the first direction to come to mind to avoid something dangerous that I hadn't noticed, I'm literally incapable of ignoring it, it's automatic and pure instinct and have saved my life multiple times (I tend to be rather oblivious to my surroundings if something catches my focus. let's just say that I've gotten this a lot while crossing the road). sometimes it'll be a bit more complicated and basically starts spamming me but those are just times that I've *really* messed up and need more than 1 movement to get out of trouble. it's not always correct. sometimes it'll just go off only for nothing to happen, but it's never exactly inconvenienced me. worst case scenario I get a few odd looks. a fair price to pay for it regularly saving my life.

I avoided being a victim of an earthquake. I was overseas for vacation and wanted to stay a few more days. My instincts said no. I bought the next airplane ticket out of there. Next day worst earthquake ever for that region

I was walking home from school one day and as I was stepping into the intersection I noticed my shoelace was untied. I briefly thought about tying it, but was like "Kneeling in the middle of the road during rush hour is a stupid idea," so I just finished crossing and knelt to tie it when I was back on the sidewalk. BOOM. Right behind me, two cars got into a head-on collision, right where I would've been kneeling.

Story 19 - I expect some real-life Final Destination, and instead, it’s just “I would have been SUPER SICK on a two hour flight”. Much needed relief after all the stories about crimes, horrible things happening, and people ending up in jail.

Regarding story #5: When our kids were elementary school aged, a group of other parents was going out for a birthday celebration. We got a babysitter and were excited to go on this rare fun night out with friends. When we got to a crowded local bar, several of the men headed off towards the pool table, while the wives and I went to the bar to get a drink. The bar was standing room only, so the 3 of us women separated and each squeezed up to the bar at different locations to catch a bartenders attention. I finally got a 30-something bartender to take my order of a glass of wine. While the bartender was getting my drink, the man seated to the right of me at the bar began talking to me, so I turned my head away from the bartender to hear what he was saying to me. It was small talk. I then looked back at the bartender, who had my glass of wine ready. The man seated to my right then called the bartender by his first name and they exchanged some words but I couldn’t really hear them. It was clear they were friends. I took my wine and went to meet my other female friends. After I drank about 3/4 of the glass of wine, I began to feel very sick. The room started spinning and I get like I was going to pass out. I quickly went outside and sat down on the front steps. This was a bar on a lake and only had some houses around it, not very populated. Thankfully one of my friends saw me leave, and rushed out after me. I told her I didn’t know if it was because the bar was so crowded, maybe it was too hot, but I get like I was going to pass out. She stayed with me and texted another friend inside. Eventually my husband came out and we left and went home. I was almost passing out the entire 15 minute drive home, saying, I don’t understand how I could be so drunk after not even a glass of wine. The next day I was groggy and slept most of the day. Didn’t think much more of it, we never realy went out much so I never went back to the bar. About 10-12 months later, the local news broke that this bar was being investigated for several women claiming they were drugged and raped by bartenders and/or other men there! The bar was ultimately closed down forever. I am convinced now that I was drugged that night. Because we got separated at the door, I think the bartender and man next to me assumed I was alone and would be easy prey to take behind the bushes or whatever outside the bar. To this day, I NEVER EVER leave a drink of any kind outside of my field of vision once I order it. Oh- and I no longer order anything to drink that I don’t see opened directly like a can, because there was speculation that they had “pre-drugged” some of the bottles of wine, so that it was already mixed and all they had to do was pour the glass. Moral of the story- keep your drink in sight/in your possession at all times, and if at all possible, only order something that has to be opened right at the point of use.

When I was 12 I lived in a small village in Cornwall uk . It was maybe 11 at night and I sometimes would do a walk around the block before bed . One night as I'm walking back home I see a car parked on the side of the road I was on lights off but engin running and the back door open I had a really strange feeling so crossed the road . The second I did the door closed the lights cam on and the car did a U turn driving straight at me . I was standing at a junction to a small housing estate I bolted in the car hadn't got to the junction yet so the second I was out of view from the road I threw myself over a little row of bushed maybe knee high and I lay in the garden . I saw the car from under the Bush it drove into the road I just ran down and started slowly driving up and down like it was looking for me . I saw the owner of the house who's garden I was in come out his side door to throw rubbish away being a small village we all knew everyone so I spoke up . He looked scared at first seeing me hiding in the shadows whispering to him but once he composed himself I mentioned the car and I'm being hunted just as I said that the car slowly came back down the road the driver was apparently staring at the guy I was talking to as he drove passed I was still laying down to scared to get up . He later said the second he saw the look in the guys eyes he knew he had to get me to safety so he let me in and called the police . We had a small village police station that was only down the road so he called them they found the guy sitting at the end of the road maybe he was waiting to see if I left when I thought he had gone but they said in his back seat he had rope a bag and knife and in the trunk a shovel and a plastic barrel . The guy who let me in the house gave a statement I gave mine and he got arrested . When he was questioned he said he was ill and needs help he wanted to kill someone and he wants to be locked up to stop it from happening. Last I heard he was in a secure unit in harplands a mental health hospital in the Midlands someplace

I am convinced that your senses take in all the information presented to them, but this would be far too much to be aware of consciously. So our subconscious decided what's important and what can be ignored. But sometimes something impotent gets filtered out. Your subconscious mind has no direct link to you conscious awareness, so it can't come out and say directly "You are in danger" so it sends out this general message of unease or discomfort. You should *ALWAYS* pay attention to this feeling, even if you can't really say why you are feeling uneasy. If it's wrong and you act on it, at worst the other person will think you are a little rude. But if it's not wrong and you ignore it, you will be extremely sorry. So even if this feeling is usually wrong, you would still be better off being a bit rude.

When my daughter was about 11 or 12, she was friends with a girl named Mallori. A few times, Mallori asked if my daughter could spend the night at her house. I don't know why but I always said no. Mallori was more than welcome to spend the night at our house but my daughter wasn't allowed to even visit Mallori's house. It was very shortly after that that we found out that Mallori's father was Ward Weaver, the man who killed Ashley Pond and Miranda Gaddis. He was able to get access to them by having his daughter invite them over to spend the night. If I had let my daughter go over there, she could have ended up as one of his victims. His daughter had no idea what he was doing to her friends so she didn't see anything wrong with inviting them over.

This one isn't about a murder, someone going to jail or anything, neither something that happened long ago, this was back last month. My English teacher had told me to go on bus 41 for an odd reason (My mom normally picks me up.) I get on the bus and think nothing of it. Until the bus driver had taken a turn near the local target(yes my old bus had gone NEAR this target) but we went right pass it, and that's when I felt like I were to puke, this normally happens when I think it's gonna get bad or I'm about to get have an anxiety attack. Turns out my mom NEVER told me or the receptionist to call the English teacher to get on the bus and my parents were literally about to report me missing. If only I trusted my gut, I would've had a normal Thursday, not almost being reported as a missing kid.

Got a few. First time, switched schools to one in the suburbs. Was walking to the buss when the "something is wrong" feeling hit me... saw people more or less in unison start moving indoors, i turned around and went in to a store... A few seconds later a car speeds through the area (not a road) quickly followed by the police. A few seconds later every one was back out as if nothing happened... Same start as the last... I no store near, some woman motioned me to get inside (her home) i followed. Moments later? a group of young men runs through the area, guns drawn, followed by another group of young men once again. did not hear a shot, but got treated to tea and baklava, nice lady, met her a few times and had tea at her place (i was around 12-14?) Third time, stopped to help a car that had broken down. The lady in the car opens her door and i get the feeling, catch something in the side of my eye, i slam her door shut and jump up on the hood, another car trades paint with her car... Bricks were laid... Last time i had this feeling? I get the feeling, look up from my phone. i see some guy is glaring daggers at me, i do the "sup" nod, he responds and i go back to my phone. Guy starts walking towards me, some one shouts something from a balcony, the guy looks up, looks at me, goes back to his spot and keeps an eye on me til my friend shows up and we leave... as we move away i see that he has a gun in his waistband... No idea what happened but im sure the guy at the balcony some how saved me from the very least a bad encounter.

This happened literally a month ago… I was 27 weeks pregnant and I was just having the worst time with like violent and I mean violent nausea and vomiting plus I could no longer hold anything down, had been two weeks since I could hold down anything solid and then for three days couldn’t hold any water down even small sips. Went into a hospital that was the closest to us since we are an hour away from the better one but it was 2am. I get there and I’m having bad stomach cramping too along with it. They admitted finding out I had bad infection so I stayed for 3 days and got pumped full of tons of antibiotics and potassium. Before discharge because I was feeling a bit better I started spotting bright red blood. I have never spotted in any of my 4 previous pregnancies, so of curse I was worried and was still having cramping which they brushed off as Braxton hicks and that some spotting is okay in pregnancy. Went home at 5pm, at 8pm I tried to go to sleep and woke up 3 hours later at 11pm writhing in pain and thought I had actually peed myself on accident (which happens at times because of my sciatica so not a big deal usually), went to the restroom and as soon as I pulled my pants down blood gushed out of me, I was like umm this isn’t good, and out on one those adult Always Descreet diapers pads. Stood up one my husband, and 5 mins later I felt wet wet, went to the toilet and again blood everywhere, so I put on another diaper and talked with hubby about what to do and which hospital to go to since the other dismissed my blood issue earlier. Decided on going to the hospital an hour away. Thank GOD we did! I came in and bled all over their restroom while trying to give a urine sample that it looked like Jason or Micheal Meyers killing room! They do imaging and found out I had a placental abruption from all the violent throwing up the past 3 weeks, and that the babies stats were dropping. So in I went for an emergency C-section. (All previous 4 were c-sections as well). Baby came at 28 weeks and was actually doing amazing btw 😊 So I get into the recovery room and I had super low BP, so after a surgery they need to make sure there is nothing they missed and check for internal bleeding. They saw that my uterus was completely filled with blood, so again I go into the OR for a D&C, well apparently I blacked before anesthesia was even given, I just got then everything was black. I woke up 3 hours later to be told that I bleeding internally, had multiple organ failure, literally died twice, was given over 22 blood bags, and they had to take my whole uterus, so I got a full hysterectomy as well. My hubby said all he heard was yelling and screaming from inside the OR about needing blood and how I flatlined, twice, and things like “I don’t know if she’ll make it”, “we need more blood” and “start CPR!”. So he was just beside himself freaking out. When I came to I found out all this had happened, and then was told that if I hadn’t come in when I did and aphid even waited just 3 more hours myself and our baby girl wouldn’t be here right now… like freaking insane!! And then after all that surgery I kept having issues with my clotting factor and platelet count so I had a run in the ICU getting more bags of blood as well. So I finally was discharged 9 days after surgery, and went home for a week to recover a bit started feeling okay, then Monday hits and yet again I’m puking again with a high fever, got fever down by Thursday but by Saturday I was still puking and was still in a severe amount of pain which isn’t normal. So I got admitted AGAIN! Found a small infection starting at the left side of my incision so got antibiotics and the pain was being managed well enough to send me home on Monday. I get home still in a fair amount of pain but I’m good on pushing through a lot of the times so came to see my baby girl at hospital NICU. Went across the street to my OB office for my now almost 1 month post op appt today(Thursday), and let them know about feeling dizzy still and still being in more pain than I should be. They figure out that not only is there a hematoma on my left side which was known to us before (they usually dissolve on their own over time but they are pretty painful still), but during or at close of the surgeries they most likely knicked a nerve on my left side as well so that was adding to all the other pain. They gave a few lidocaine shots near the pain sites and the pain has gone down a good enough amount to where I can walk around and not want to still clutch at my stomach. Which is awesome. BUT, that’s not even the last of it, so ever since the surgeries my Blood Pressure has been quite high, abnormally high(plus I’m still having swelling in my lower 3/4 of my legs, ankles, and feet), and my BP at my appt today was 153/104 and if you know anything about BP the normal is like 120/65, give or take 10 each higher or lower. So yeah, now I’m waiting on the results of some type of genetic auto immune disorder that affects blood clotting that can also, you guessed it raise your BP pretty high as well but also being started on meds for high BP at 33 years old. Like holy moly! Can this be enough? When I tell you it has been a LONG month, I mean it! Feeling a little better now that we have some answers but still not back to myself yet. Good news is our baby girl is doing amazing and just kicking butt at this thing called life which couldn’t make us happier! But if I hadn’t gone in when I did and went into this specific hospital, my hubby would be digging a fairly large hole in our backyard right now.(I’m kidding about the hole thing get a sense of dark humor!), but no myself nor my baby would be here right now, and I would have left an amazing hubby and 4 crazy wonderful boys at home with no mama and no long awaited baby sister. So yeah, that’s been my month… hopefully y’all’s have been better! Happy life’s blessings to all!!! ❤

I am doing an Education degree (English minor, history major) and was planning on going to China to teach English as an additional language during the Christmas holidays a few years ago... I decided that it was not a good year to do the trip and canceled (in June)... and when I was to be over there... COVID appeared. I was in NZ and had planned on touring the South Island... I changed my plans to go to the South Island the day after I was to be there and instead help drive my mum around instead. The day I was to be in Christchurch the earthquake occurred. I was originally to be in the cathedral on a tour - I even had the itinerary of my day in Christchurch. I was planning on being in the Lindt cafe in Sydney with two friends to celebrate Christmas and buy presents - I had saved up all year. My car needed new tires and I decided that getting new tires was more important than a self-indulgent trip to share a "chocolate fountain" with friends and spend money on unnecessary Christmas presents... A few years ago I was getting in the back of the work vehicle and had a weird feeling. I did not usually wear a seatbelt (the cops usually don't usually pull First Responders over) however I put the seatbelt on and before I left I sent a text to a coworker and best friend with alternative contact details along with the text saying "Just in case... you might need this information". The driver flipped the vehicle and if I had not been wearing the seatbelt I would have been severely injured or even dead... and my friend needed the information I had texted her. I was in the hospital and there were 6 beds in my room... sometime in the afternoon, a new patient was wheeled into the room. As it got later we all tried to get to sleep... except that the new patient was snoring VERY loudly. I had a funny feeling about his condition so I got out of bed and went to check on his O2 stats... they were about 94 or 93 and falling... fast. I went (slowly and painfully) over to the nurses' desk to tell the RN on duty that there was a problem with that patient... but she refused to listen to me and told me off saying something like "Look... I can give you a sleeping tablet or ear plugs but there is nothing I can do with his snoring" When I mentioned his O2 she said "what would you know about oxygen stats? if there was a problem with his oxygen the alarm would..." Just then the oxygen alarm sounded They spent the rest of the night trying to get that number higher and wake him up... he woke up the next day saying that he always was a heavy snorer and was a heavy sleeper... I asked him if he had ever had a sleep apnea test done or ever seen a cardiologist... he said "no"... I said that he was going to... and he did.

I live in a very safe London suburb. There is NO WAY I would let my young teen walk the dog alone at night!! I don’t care how streetwise they are!!

Oh boy, I have a LOT of these. My biggest one was when I was 15. My family was FULL of drug addicts. My mother, sister and my sibling’s. I even got mixed up into heroin when I was a little older. Anyway. I went to bed earlier than normal with my boyfriend now fiancé. I was in a dead sleep when I heard something say “Malissa wake up”. I got up, looked around but there was nobody besides my fiancé who was fast asleep. When I woke up I was full of anxiety and had a really bad feeling out of nowhere. I got up, peeked out my bedroom door and peeked into my kitchen which was right next to my room. My heart dropped. I saw my dad, laying across the seating part of a chair with blood coming out of his mouth. He was dead. Drug overdose. I was a kid and I was the one trying to save him because everyone in my house refused to help or even call 911. The operator couldn’t understand me because I was so distraught. I was just a kid man .I’ll never forgive myself because that night I was such a bratty teen to him. He asked me if I wanted to make bread with him that night and I said “no dad I’m not a fucking 10 year old I don’t want to make bread with you.” I’m such an asshole. I probably weighed about 100lbs soaking wet and I tried my hardest to give him CPR but I just wasn’t strong enough. When I blew into his mouth it came straight back out with the most awful smell. My mother and siblings refused to give him CPR because of the smell and I just couldn’t believe that. You know, they said he died of an overdose but I honestly think my mother killed him by slipping all of his pills into his liquor. He drank a whole bottle of 151 pretty much everyday. When the cops came in she said “Don’t look at me like I did it!” She also refused an autopsy and had him cremated as fast as she could. She always talked about killing him. I tried to tell people but they didn’t believe me. I’m filled with so much guilt and remorse. This was 14 years ago. I hope my mother rots…

I was out walking from a friend's house at night sixteen years ago, and there was two ways to get home, the short bridge or the roads. The bridge was a shortcut, and only had a short stretch of darkness between street lights, and the street was the same, so I chose the bridge. I got nearer to it but suddenly felt strange, I felt cold and my stomach knotted. I decided to take the more lit up streets home. The next morning, the news announced that a young girl had been stabbed on that bridge, at around eight pm, a case of mistaken identity, and she'd died. It was just before eight that night that I suddenly felt anxious.

It was 2021. I was 13 and my uncle was over. He made me feel uncomfortable. I went on a search for my sister cuz it was dinner and I saw him following me. That made me uncomfortable. When I stopped he did slap my yk what. I got out of there quickly as possible. This was even before I knew anything about seggs and anything related to it. This year found out that he has been cheating and my aunt divorced him. Glad he's gone

I have one. Back in college I was dating a guy, on spring break he was going home, I had a bad feeling about it and told him to be careful. Two days later he called me and told me that my bad feeling was right just not for him, but some one that worked on his father's farm. The person had taken a corner way to fast while driving a full grain truck and almost put the truck on its side, but thankfully the only thing that happened was a lot of grain was spilled onto the road.

When I was first entering elementary school band (couldn’t have been more than 3rd grade) I was super excited to have my band teacher. Everyone loved him because he was hilarious and gained the school dozens of awards in his time teaching. He was a man in his early fifties. He was sorting all the kids around with our parents watching during signups. When he got to me he grabbed me by both shoulders and shoved me towards the trumpet section. My first thought was “I DO NOT WANT THIS MAN TO TOUCH ME” but after a minute I brushed it off, figuring that I was just being dramatic. Throughout the next few years I was in band my mom was continuously late picking me up (very on brand for her), so I was alone with this man for up to a half hour at a time in the band room every day. He never did anything weird/suspicious. I always thought he was a good man. Turned out he liked having sex with teenage girls. I never felt truly in danger with him around except for that one moment, but I think my gut knew that something was wrong with him. I feel so sorry for his sweet wife who also worked at the school. She didn’t deserve to have that gross man in her life.

My first one was when I was 2, and an invisible voice told me to stay away from my grandpa. “Don’t let him touch you. Don’t be alone with him. He’s bad.” About a decade later I learned he sexually/mentally/verbally/etc abused my mom and her sister for years. When I was 7 I went to my BFF’s for her birthday party. I met her dad and did NOT trust him. I even tried to walk around him out of arm’s reach. Later found out he abused his wife and once took it out on my BFF because she tried to stop him. Another time I was walking down some narrow neighborhood streets. I saw an adorable doggy in his yard at the intersection, cooed over him, took pics, and started to cross the street. He barked once or twice before I could leave which scared the dickens out of me! I turned and said “Stop being so loud! You scared me!” Then a car I didn’t see zoomed past at about 40 MPH. If I hadn’t been stopped by being startled and gone back to complain at him, I would’ve gotten hit. (Hit-and-runs weren’t uncommon in that city.) I have about a dozen more but I’m still trying to think of how to book-ify this

(THIS IS VERY LONG.) The story at 12:07 really reminds me of something that happened to me, so basically once I woke up with a throbbing migraine in the middle of the night, I felt something was off, very off. I asked my grandma for some pain meds and went back to sleep. I fell asleep after tossing and turning because of the pain, we went to my doctor like twice and they told me I had a sinus infection and gave me a treatment, it did absolutely nothing. Can’t remember what happened second time. Anyway, we went to the emergency room once and they gave me a migraine cock tail (it’s basically IV fluids) and it helped allot, but once we got home it came back. (this is around 2 hours after I got the fluids btw) So after a couple days, I wake up with double vision and I cant see properly. We go to the emergency room almost immediately. Once we get there, they take a MRI scan of my head and they immediately see something that’s VERY concerning. They can’t see it 100% but they know what it is, they see a blood clot at the edge of my brain, around my sinus area. They bring my grandma in the other room and tell her what it is because they don’t want me to know I’m on the brink of dying. They put me in an ambulance, sirens and everything, to bring me to a children’s hospital. I get IV fluids and they take MRI scans like every other day. They give me IV fluids to stop the clotting in my brain and I have to do nasal rinses. (I’m gonna explain both why I have to do nasal rinses and how I got this blood clot in the first place. Basically, there was so much well, boogers and gunk in my nose that my body couldn’t handle it, so a blood clot formed. So, I have to do nasal rinses to get the gunk out. It was literally so bad they had to do a surgery to get the boogers out 💀) And the day before I’m getting discharged from the hospital, I get a surgery for a picc line (A picc line is a better version of a IV, you don’t have to carry a machine around with you and it’s more convenient) When I get home, I just have to put fluids through the picc line and nurses will come to change it out and stuff. After around 2 weeks, they take the picc line out. When we got to the emergency room, I was like 1 hour away from dying, because if we waited any longer, the clot would have burst and I would’ve had a stroke, and died. I think god sent a angel for me to make sure I’d live, and I don’t believe in God.

I didn't know about the oxygen below 92% thing but now it explains something. when I had covid my family was passing around one of those finger pulse and oxygen meters to whichever member was sickest that week. (took 5 weeks to get through all of us with no one in their worst in the same week.) at one point I put it on for laughs and sent my mom a picture because I thought it was funny that both my pulse and oxygen were 88. she rushed down to my room and had me use it again. 92 heartrate... 88 oxygen. she grabbed some breathing exercise thing I hated doing and made me work with it until my numbers were better. then she kept checking on me more often than before. like every hour now. I didn't understand her panic and hovering until I heard that line in story 15.

That’s why I like to live by this: alwyas be aware looking over your shoulder and never be distracted in a transitional space . If you have mace, knives,batons etc. train with them every day. But in the end always trust your gut . Alwyas. Trust. Your. Gut.

I was around 8 years old when I was driving to my dad's house and a white van started to follow us. We drove around town a bit and the van continued to follow us. I had gotten a weird vibe considering it felt he could see me through the window. My dad stops to pull in to our neighborhood when the car starts honking and tries to rear-end us. My dad immediately jerked the car to the side as we repeated driving around the neighborhood until he eventually got bored and drove on the other side of town. We chased him down quickly and started snapping pictures of his License plate. (Keep in mind, this was late 2015 era.) We then drove back to our neighborhood and called 911. The cops chased him down (we could hear because we lived in a small town) and later had gotten no info. It sounds like they quickly dealt with this weird man. I don't know what his goal was, but I feel like whatever happened was targeted towards me.

I’ll never forget my sister got asked by a couple at church to babysit their kids. The kids were fine but she felt uncomfortable and told my mom she did not want to babysit for that family again. Years later the husband was on the news arrested for grooming and SA a young girl- I’m sure she wasn’t the only victim. So glad my sister followed her gut.

When I was 14 and really pissed off at my best friend, I walked a full two blocks (we live on the east coast in an urban city, so about two-fifths of a mile) ahead of her and another girl. A short, small, white male drove up in a van with a baby sleeping in a car seat in the back and asked me for directions to a street that was 2 blocks away. I was so surprised and excited that I could actually do so (I could NEVER give directions back then) that I even commented on it and then gave him the information. He thanked me and offered me a ride home; I only lived a block beyond where he was supposedly driving to, so I thanked him and told him that it wasn’t necessary. He suggested it again so I explained that my friends were a ways behind me so I couldn’t leave. He offered to take all of us home and suggested that I wait in the van for them. I thought that it was odd that he kept trying to get me to get in the van. I stood there trying to decide what to do and looked at him and then the baby. I knew that even a small man was stronger than I was, and I knew about ALL the ways that adults can abuse kids. Something in my spirit said, “maybe you’re supposed to look at the baby,” like the baby was a prop meant to make him seem safe. I was then concerned that he might lose patience and get out of the van, so even though I still pissed at my best friend I walked briskly back to where she and the other girl was walking. My only regret is that I didn’t report the interaction to the police.

When i was 11, she didn't make me go to a party of a classmate. It was far, i was sick and don't had any money for gift. That day my mom didn't explain to me why so i had to expend that day and after playing games and sleeping. At the next day, i was wake up with my mom sobbing. The car who was supposed to pick me up that day was T bone by another car. My classmate dad lose a leg and his brother die in that accident. My mom not only was sobbing for that but because she trust that gut feeling she has and the "something is very wrong here" sensation she has that day.

Story 15 I went to the hospital because I couldn’t lift my legs and it felt like I was walking in mud. My oxygen levels were in the low 80%s. What’s weird is I actually felt really good. I was very warm and sleepy. No pain, which was very unusual as I have chronic pain for many many years. Honestly the best I’ve ever felt oddly enough. I always freeze being in the hospital as I’m 5’10 130lbs lol. So I kept telling everyone weird things like “so glad you guys finally upped the temps in this place as I’m always freezing.” And when they would come onto my room to do X-rays and whatnot, which is very rare, I would comment “oh you guys now have machines and go room to room? That’s neat” I would either get weird looks or some excuse you know. I should have known something was up when they had a nurse standing in my room the whole time just watching my vitals. Between the warm feeling and no pain, personal nurse for chit chat, and personal machines coming in for the testing I was actually loving it lol. 10/10 hospital experience. If you are gonna go, pick something that lowers your oxygen levels lol

A few years ago, we were at a convenience store a short walk from our apartment. There were a bunch of people in there. MS-13 was a major problem in our area, and they were giving me gang vibes. One of them was overly friendly and then paid for my buddy's drink. I was like, "Oh no" the whole time and realized we'd probably just been marked, but I couldn't warn my buddy until we'd left the store. That intuition turned out to be true when the whole carload of them started following us on our way home, turning into every parking lot we walked through (all of these properties were vacant, having been taken by the county for road widening). They finally gave up and drove off when they saw us about to draw our guns, prepared to turn their whole car into Swiss cheese if they opened a door or rolled down a window. I wish I was BSing on this, but it's all true.

May the dog from the fourth story is a hero in my case

In the summer of 1999 our family (father, stepmother, stepsister and 11 year old me) spent a day on an island and made our way back. From the ferry we changed to the car and my dad drove our old Volkswagen Golf II through the nearest town and there we came near an intersection with a traffic light, surrounded by houses, the cross street was not visible. Without warning and even though we had a green light, my father executed an emergency stop at 50 kph (30 mph) and we came to hold just short of the intersection, objects flew through the car (RIP Walkmen) and my stepmother just screamed, "What the hell. ." and that's as far as she got, because at that moment, without warning, a truck coming from the left raced across in high speed over the intersection (had a red light) and just missed the hood of our car. If my father hadn't hit the brakes, he does not know why to this day, I would certainly not have been able to write these lines here. The remaining 80 km (50 mi) car ride home we kept silent, despite sunburn with chalk pale faces. Sometimes I dream about it and I get goose bumps every time I tell it.

Ooooo i got one yey. I had gotten my period like day before the incident, and right before I had to go to school, I started feeling unwell. Not unwell enough to not go, but I wasn't mentally up to going to class that day either. I could've gone but something told me to stay home today, and I'm glad I did bc someone had broke into a fight and pushed someone onto train tracks and i think they were killed. It took place at around the same time I would've been there to take that train. The least thing that would've happened was I'd be late to class, but still a bullet dodged 0:

Back in 2007, I was driving through a rough, and remote, section of the county. A winter storm hit before and the roads are slick with ice and banks covered in snow. I hit a patch of ice, did a 180 in a ditch and disabled my vehicle. Of course, no cell reception, and this being remote, I was all alone. At the same time, our Game Warden was at his office drinking coffee and reading the newspaper when he had this strange feeling come over him. He jumped into his truck and went on a patrol. Short time later he found me. The man said that he couldn't describe how or why he felt it, but his mind said, "Do it" and he knew to trust his instincts.

This happened 2 years ago. So I was out in my backyard underneath really old white barn that my parents owned, I got near the barn, and had a painful feeling to move away. Surely enough, I moved away from the barn, a giant piece of metal fell from it, and if I hadn't moved, I would have been crushed

You don't get these feelings every day. These are mostly mundane scenarios that turn out awful. I think there's something going on with conciousness/soul that we just can't explain with our current technology

This is my worst one. So it was 2020 and my grandpa had found a new fav YT channel: Girl in the Woods, and he ALWAYS watched her. Every. Single. Day he would watch this camping YT channel. He watched other camping channels from time to time, but here's the thing. They were all winter camping videos or female camping. Key note: Female. I got a bad feeling about it and came up with a theory that he was cheating and told my BFF, he said that he agreed with the evidence but we were just 10 years old, there wasn't much we could do, so we ignored it and continued the pandemic year until 2021. On my Halloween party on the 30th he supposedly got drunk and attacked my grandma (he wasn't drunk). Not more than a week later did we discovered that he had a whole other FAMILY in Oklahoma City. I should have followed through and told her my gut feeling, but by 2021, ur had been to late. I recently found out this year that she knew he was cheating but lied to herself that it wasn't happening. It still impacts her too this day even though it's been a year since her and my grandpa split up, she started smoking again and I can't convince her to quit and now Me and my grandma have severe trust issues with men over 50 that are bald.

Always follow your instinct: Is Better to have been wrong and a little ashamed than to have been Right and to have ignored it. It could save your life.

so i have many connections with my family, i trust most of them, and i have this one cousin who is kinda like weird, thats caused by his dad dying from drugs and his mom dying from some sort of accident i dont remember, btw hes about 7, and he trusts his grandma to take care of him, i trusted her for a while and then eventually it came out that most of the time she saw us she had taken many drugs and lots of alcohol, she had so much infact that i just decided to stay away from her a lot, i just didnt feel okay near her, some time later (about 4 months) since the time i saw her she came out with a alcohol induced dementia, she then stated that she forgot who i was and was plotting to kill me for being next to my cousin because she thought i was going to do harm to him, she said "whatever the f*ck this kid is doing to mine im going to slit his neck for it" and so she got put on house arrest and my cousin got put into foster-care.

I got a very strong feeling that I needed to call out sick from my job when I was 17. The owner had to cover the cash register for me and a guy held a gun to his head and robbed him that day. I didn’t feel sick and didn’t have plans, I just felt very strongly that I shouldn’t go in, and I was right.

Story #19 it's a good thing OP decided to do what they did

Back in April 2018 I adopted a young puppy from the shelter (she had been found alone on the street with mange about a month before I was able to bring her home). Shania, as I later named her, actually chose me and would greet me at the front of her run. She seemed to be healthy and acted normal for a puppy of her age except she was constantly drinking water. At one point she drank close to 2 cups of water in a single sitting and she was still under 20 pounds. When I took her into the vet I mentioned her odd drinking habits. The vet ran some blood work and called me saying something did indeed look off and wanted a ultrasound to confirm. That is how I found out my 6-7 month old puppy had congenital kidney deformations. The vet said it was some of the worst kidneys in a dog so young that she had ever seen. We regularly went to the vet for checkups and specialty diet food. Thankfully she loved being around people and was, somewhat ironically, excited to go to the vets office. I had considered putting her through classes to make her a comfort animal because she would always nuzzle under my arm, especially when I was sad or upset, or even try to be a lapdog(she was a 45 pound German Shepherd)

While working nights to renovate my house I had to make a 10 PM run to Walmart for supplies. As I exited to the parking lot with my cart I noticed three young men with no purchases walking a few paces behind me. As I neared my car I glanced back at them again and one of them had disappeared. The hair stood up on the back of my neck, I threw my stuff in the trunk, jumped in the car, locked the door and started pulling out, just as I saw the missing kid coming for me, sliding around the van parked next to me. Close one!

Story 4 is the best dog

I have a story sort of like this and I had a dream my friend fell out of a window and I get these all the time and usually they’re not right but this time I had this overwhelming sense of dread so I called her ,about five minutes before I called her she got a call from her sister, saying her kid fell out of the window and fractured his skull. Always listen to that little voice inside saying somethings wrong no matter how stupid you feel you can you can help someone.

When I was 9 years old, I started to have the most uncomfortable feeling in my house. As if someone were watching me. I kept telling my parents, but they didn't believe me. One night, I was going to change into my pajamas while my cat was lying in my bed. Right as I opened my drawer, my cat's head snapped to my window, which was right next to the gate leading to our yard. I couldn't hear the gate being opened since my drawer was loud, but I had an inkling that someone had opened it after seeing my cat's reaction. I took my pajamas and ran to the kitchen to change and told my mom. Dad went out to see if anyone was there (there wasn't), and then we heard a knock at our front gate. A couple of teenagers that lived nearby told us someone was looking through our windows and that they'd seen this man around the neighborhood. We called the police, but they couldn't find fingerprints or anything. The next day, my dad got motion sensor lights installed on the roof edges right outside my room. That night, I remember having trouble sleeping, and then I saw the motion light turn on and quickly off. A detective came over the next day, and she informed us that the man had been caught that night. Apparently, he was startled by the security lights and ran back across the street, where the police were waiting. They got hold of his phone and saw he had photos of me and my sister's rooms through the openings of our blinds. Additionally, I saw the photos taken of the inside of his car, which had a bunch of popular plushies that kids liked. I was HORRIFIED. Needless to say, my parents were apologetic for not believing me and got a restraining order. I've also been paranoid about covering my windows completely at night ever since.

I lived and worked in the Entertainment Biz in L.A. in the 80's - the 2010's.... so almost every night

I had put my lunch in the microwave, my baby sitting near the microwave. I wanted to leave the kitchen to go to the bathroom, but had a strange feeling so I stayed in the kitchen. A few seconds later, smoke came out of the microwave and I think it would have gone up in flames had I not intervened. My baby would have been seriously injured had I left the room for a moment. So glad I listened to my intuition!

Not me but my dad. I originally had an older friend who seemed nice enough. My dad didn’t like him for whatever reason, but my young mind couldn’t tell why. Turns out he was a heavy drinker and had a bunch of other issues

When I was 9 I was letting my dogs in at night and just as I unclipped our older female dog, she started growling at a tree probably 10 feet away at most. When I looked up I saw a hand disappear behind the tree. I stood in shock for a second before saying, "okay puppers time to go inside and sleep". Quickly unleashed the other two and locked the door. She was the sweetest dog ever and never growled at anyone. I would have thought it was my overactive, true-crime loving imagination if she hadn't confirmed it for me. Even if they're not trained guards, dogs always know.
