None of the OPs are jerks in this video but. Story 1: what a badass teacher. Story 2: you're the purest soul I ever heard and I'm sorry you had to go through this 😔 Story 3: I have a strong feeling against this kind of stuff and I feel the pain you had to go through (in my case the abuser had other excuses as well tho). Story 4: bruh how did you even get the patience to let everything like this happen? I would have spoken up to my parents and sister day 1 if it happened to me.

I've been in the unfortunate situation where my brother and his wife announced she was 3 months pregnant on the same day my wife's first sonogram revealed no heartbeat. My brother announced it at a housewarming party for their new home. I remember the mental "Oh S***" I thought when they got up in front of the party and I got a good look at my sister in-law and realized what they were about to say. Needless to say, i got my wife out and she had a good cry. My sister, who was also there also helped. Despite being upset, we know there was no malice. We hadn't even told anyone she was pregnant as it was only about a month. No matter how bad you feel, life happens and you can't shut it out forever. Everyone has something they want, but can't have and have to watch other that have it. What does the sister do when she goes to the store and sees mothers pushing babies in strollers?

Story 2: Sadly, I understand the OP's disappointment and fear. I loss my first child, and my daughter's father was the "rock" I needed to get through the grief. I was so codependent on him. It was not until he told me that he has never been so happy, because it was the first time it was just me and him in our own love bubble. Initially, I focused on being upset that he was enjoying our time together, while my heart was completely broken. But, that is what I needed to start going to therapy. I started thinking about past instances and realized that he always just wanted it to be just me and him. He had slowly isolated me from my family and friends. It was toxic-af. I couldn't do it any longer, and he was pissed. He started showing up to my job, my parent's place, the market I frequently went to, etc. I had to move far away on a Tuesday morning. He still drove past my parent's place for the next few years. He left messages saying he hated me and what I did to him. It was crazy. But, he finally found someone else and moved on. It's crazy how some insecurities make people try to control you/the relationship. It's sick, and scary. You always feel like they will go too far at any moment. I hope the OP found peace.

Story 1: I find it more messed up you can "accuse" some one is cheating". Seeing at what that class is for I'd want those people passing with flying colors not copy/paste. So reporting someone of cheating should be a thing. Story 2: if the guy really wanted to he could of took his ex to court loss of a job and revenue and mental stress from it as well due to her false reports. Story 3: well all I can say about this is of that was my sister. Me making her brother-in-law's A-Hole a permanent steel toe boot holder will be the least of his concerns. Story 4: I can clearly understand and respect not talking about baby's or something along that line after someone had a miscarriage or lost a child but there is a certain point in time where enough is enough and coddling someone isn't going to make the situation any better. That person needs to grow up and move on with their life. Believe me I know many people who lost children or had miscarriages or had stillborn babies and it was really sad seeing some of them was relatives of mine. Yes there was a moment of silence and respect but after a while life moves on. People need to stop living in the past and dwelling on the bad things that happened. The way this story is the person is just wanting sympathy and people to baby them and make it all about them.

Especially in the 20's, a five year gap is a lot especially when the woman is older. That's because men and women usually mature at different rates. It's common for an older woman to be looking to a younger man because she can control him. This sounds a bit like Muchausen By Proxy. The most common case is where a parent will "create" symptoms in a child to get sympathy for themselves. Here, she gets to be the "good girlfriend" by supporting her boyfriend through job problems. He'll probably have to move to another town/city to ensure she doesn't find out where he works in the future.

The last story. I don’t care what your issues are you cannot expect others to tip toe around you for your entire life. I have a cousin that was unable to have children due to a bad yeast infection when she was young. She tried that shit and avoided her entire family and blamed us when her long term boyfriend decided he wanted kids and he couldn’t be with her because of her hatred to kids. She eventually went through therapy and at the request of her therapist 3 years ago went to see an obstetrician that specializes in her type of issues. They implanted and embryo and she had her miracle child. When you work on fixing your problems instead of blaming them for everything you can find work around a for everything. I hate when I hear stories of women who are infertile demanding people coddle them and keep kids out of their lives. If you want my kids out of your life than you will be out of my life.

That teacher was great! The students are adults acting like children…..and they absolutely deserve what they got. Not enough in my opinion. Edit: and oh my gosh what is wrong with the husband? It’s almost like he and his brother were in some sort of agreement and it was OK if he saw his sister-in-law naked? My husband would never in 1 million years allow that to happen and there has to be something seriously wrong with both of those dudes. I felt really bad for the wife and she had every right to be upset and put a lock on the door while her brother-in-law lived there.

Story 2 reminds me of a story. It's from a friend of my parents, we'll call him John. John had 3 younger siblings, a step brother, a half brother and a half sister. When I was a kid, I remember him often venting to my parents about how his siblings are lazy dumbasses who can't even bother to get a job, and are completely dependent on their parents. One day, his stepmother died in an accident. He wasn't really sad, as she never treated him as her son, but really wondered how things would be now that she wasn't there to support his siblings. He came to talk to them about finally getting jobs. That's how he learned the truth: their mother was the one preventing them for getting jobs. No job was good enough, nothing they could apply to was good enough for her. If they applied to a job, she'd litterally do everything to prevent them for getting it. If they got the job anyway, she'd come every single day at that place to make a scene until she got them fired. If they tried to hide their job, she'd always somehow find out and get them fired. She even barred the youngest, John's half sister, from going to college by writting false rejection letters from universities. After a while each one of them, one after the other, came to term with the fact they weren't gonna be able to keep a job. Why she did that, they will never know for sure, but they do have some ideas: -Maybe she just didn't want her kids to grow independent from her -Maybe she didn't want her kids to have a job she deemed "beneath them" and had unreasonnable expectations about the kind of job they could get -John's favorite theory is that she was jealous of him. His reasoning is, even if she never really saw him as her son, she always had this need to compare her children to him. According to him, when his was younger, being told his siblings were smarter than him, more well-behaved etc by her was a common occurence. Coincidently, the only one she even barred from entering college, his half sister, was the only one applying for a course often deemed "less prestigious" than what he did. He think she simply couldn't stand seing one of her children being paid less than him, than she would have them be jobless rather than working for a salary below his.

The story about the girlfriend is ABSOLUTELY 100% the first motive for ruining op-s life. She's older , insecure and she's doing that to " be there for him." She's manipulating him so she can have him emotionally and probably financially dependent on her and her only. He did the right thing when he got away from this narcissist. I would suggest that he return the favor and go scorched earth on her. The funny thing is he can do it by letting everyone know the truth about her which would be perfectly legit whereas what she did was illegal.

story 1 - I don't know why but OP sounds like a jerk and I don't know why,. probably because of me thinking that overall just straight up failing them is understandable however to go to the extent of wasting their vacation and time which overall could care less if the student did go on a vacation more so on how much it cost to go back to the university just to waste their time though honestly the fact that th OP couldn't call them out on their cheating just makes to the entire thing no worth it and if anything makes the OP makes them look like Benson from regular show in the dome epsiode where he only cares about the dates of dome experiment rather than the actually dome. overall the only one where the OP not really a jerk though more a person who has nothing better to do but to waste other people's time. story 2 - easy answer, not the jerk however the ex is a bloody psychopath and needs to be locked up. over exaggerating but nonetheless, she derserve some karma from the world as she is mess up in the head for that. story 3 - Understandable that you want locks on a bathroom which honestly makes sense in my place we got no locks on are door however we didn't choose it, we're just stuck with it and if someone kept going into the bathroom when I took a shower, it would be common sense from the husband at this point that the brother is pervert, he is just biased. story 4? for some reason it says 3 again - it is stupid that if you had a miscarriage and then proceed to make everyone you know to either not have a baby or talk about it, then you are an absolute jerk like at best a week or 2 is needed but babies will be born and honestly they would be a hypocrite the moment she had a child and another person she knew was saying the same crap just like her.

That last one, honestly the sister needs to grow up. Babies exist. Other people are going to have children and it's not fair for them to have to leave their children behind during family events. That kind of things leaves emotional scarring on children. And an honesty the kids will grow up thinking that their parents don't like them or their aunt hates them and it will give them anxiety, insecurity, and conniptions about them not actually being wanted in the family, especially on days such as Christmas Halloween, Thanksgiving, and every other family gathering holiday. She needs to grow up.

I also have quite a story. It's not actually my experience, but my elementary teacher's. I don't know how it works elsewhere, but in Croatia, at Croatian classes, there is this thing called "lektira". I don't even know any other names, but you're basically given a book to read, a list of questions, and, when it is due, an exam. Of course, it can differentiate, with different lektiras requiring artistic work, and the ones where we choose our own books requiring a presentation. But most are pretty much just answering questions at home and, later on in school, exam questions. Teacher told us about one of these assignments that was turn into a trap. It started normally, giving questions to answer by reading. But the teacher was suspicious that some students were cheating by copying answers from internet. So, teacher got an idea. Teacher got an awful idea. Teacher got a wonderful awful idea. She actually went not only as far as looking up all these pages, but by creating one herself. What does that change, I hear you ask? Everything. Literally everything. All the answers were corresponding to questions, but filled with stupidly dumb nonsense. And when the assignment was due, and teacher collected answer sheets and exams, she saw nonsense. The very same nonsense she wrote. To shorten the story: Teacher makes her own page and fills it with nonsense, then catches students who copied it.

The one with the ex who tried to ruin all his jobs...it kinda sounds like Munchausen's syndrome by proxy, only with jobs instead of health. I think she wanted him to use her as his comfort and it gave her some sick sense of power over him. the bil story - that bil is an a-hole, but the husband is worse. he's dismissing his wife's concerns and doesn't care that his brother is violating her boundaries and, honestly, that is a form of sexual assault. I'm not actually sure he's trying to sneak a peak. He may actually be trying to get them to break up. the one with the sister and kids....that sister needs serious therapy. Does she expect every person in the world to stop having babies or hide them away? I get that she's grieving, but she needs to work through it and not project on people. Therapy. therapy is good.

Last story: I kinda see where Julie is coming from but there's a very simple law of the universe at play. Julie is an adult and can choose not to engage. It would be very different if there was physical trauma or the topic was specific and easily and reasonably avoided (like SA or particular people), but it's unreasonable to assume the world will stop talking about or making something just because you don't like it. OP getting pregnant deserves to be talked about, if Julie doesn't like it then Julie can leave the room, turn off Facebook notifications, not go a party dedicated to having a baby. If she wants to avoid children, she has the right as an adult not to go to family gatherings that children are welcome to, such as the aunt's party. But she can't expect people to stop talking about kids because kids are a very common, socially acceptable topic

I had known this women who had four miscarriages. But she didn't give up. She ended up having four children two boys and two girls. They were my neighbors and I grew up with them. When I was ten their father died at 37 years old. Their mother had the tenacity of a mother bear, and courage of a lion raising four children alone into adulthood . With her bad health as it was. She needed an operation to remote twenty feet of her intestines. She even had three of her four children turn out right. The youngest boy had to grow up fatherless and by age 22 was doing a 15 to 30 year prison sentence. For murdering his own drug supplier. He tried to claim it was in self-defence and it was done out of fear for his life. But there was just one very big horsefly in his version of the story he told to police. The evidence told a different story of what reality happened there at the house. First there were no kinds of defense wounds on the dead man's hands or face. Secondly why isn't there any defensive wounds or marks or bruises on my neighbor's body. If he was attached by the victim as he told the police in his version of the events of that evening. Third where is the victims weapon he threatened you with. Fourth why did you need to brutally stab the victim 67 times. The only wounds my neighbor had on him were where his hand had slipped on the bloody knife handle causing himself to cut his own fingers. All the forensic evidence gathered was the final nail that convected my neighbor to prison. Even though my neighbor had committed a premeditated murder . He was only charged with third degree manslaughter . I guess they charged him a lesser crime. Because he killed a big time major pain in the ass drug dealer supplier of hard drugs. The local police had been trying to arrest him for dealing in hard drugs. Heck as far as the DA and local police are concerned . It's just one less drug dealer on the street. In a away my friend had done them a big service by getting one more death dealer off the streets permanently. It even saves the taxpayers money by not having to pay for a trial and the cost of incarceration. There is just one less drug dealer out there poisoning our children's minds and bodies with hard drugs.

Something tells me the brother in law and the husband were in on it together. Some weird kink about the husband enjoying his brother seeing his wife naked. Wouldn't be surprised if they've done that with past girlfriends too, but none of them put up with their weird, pervy relationship for long. The husband is literally angry his wife won't let his brother perv on her in the bathroom, why else would he be so insistent on no locks in the house, especially the bathroom.

i think both husband and his brother are big perverts 1-who doesnt have any lock in house what do you expect to do when something bad happens. 2-husband porbably never talked about it at all and helping his brother and his brother is using him.

Well, it’s sad that But the same time no one else should be expected to Keon coddling her. Everyone else is going to potentially end up having children and relatives. Want to see those children.

"Teachers take cheating very personallyc. Yeah, we do. We spend literal hours reading all your reports, correcting them, trying to understand what gone wrong and why to be able to help students. Hours! Cheating is like spitting in our face.

With the second story I would have sued the brother-in-law or call the cops on him because invading personal space is illegal; if that didn’t work I would bring a bat with me to the bathroom and wack the brother-in-law every time he barged into the bathroom.

Just fail them, the revenge is the amount of wasted tuition money they’ve spent. I went through college with the attitude that I’m paying to be here, therefore I get to decide how much of my time and effort that money is worth. Fail them and move on, those are the consequences, not spending extra hundreds to travel back-and-forth when you could just be honest that you caught them cheating and they won’t pass because of it.

Story 3: she should set up times and a camera and go into the bathroom and turn on the shower but not get undressed and record every time he walks in on her. If she can't do that, then she needs to leave and not go back because it's obvious that she will not get any respect in the house at all ever

The last one? I would have helped the sister out by working through it with her. Has she considered adoption? I would reach a hand out and instead of coddling her by keeping all babies and toddlers away from her, I would get her the help she needs. Maybe she is okay with adoption. Maybe she needs counseling or attend a group with other infirtile women. What the family is doing by coddling the sister is only making her issues worse. The main thing is to use the situation as a way to bond with the sister and show you truly care. She may not like it initially, but I bet she'll look back and appreciate the help. I hope it worked out well in the end. Is OP in that situation the jerk? No! In fact, I think she's the only levelheaded person in her family.

The school is like a battlefield between knowledge and stupidity, between students and teachers (good teachers, that is, with bad teachers, i can be very easy to turn this fight into an abuse so don't count that in). The students have about 3 outcomes to choose when they want to pass. First, study hard and pass the axams. Second, don't study and fail. Third, cheat their way through the exam, however, the cheating needs to be smart, to be flawless so that the teachers can't see that cheating, and it is very hard to do nowadays, the challenge for cheaters keep getting harder and hard now, because teachers learn, so now the best and easiest way to past is to study hard.

I don't think that cheating is that bad all the time. You will cheat sometimes in life. There will be times where you can't stay truthful and that's okay. Just don't do it to gain an advantage but rather to make a problem less of a problem
