Glad to help guys! No clue why people would down vote this vid. Simple, quick to do and very secure method. I'm thinking of posting a follow up video and really show in detail how this method not only meets legal requirements but is child proof as well.

You can now buy an ammo can off of Amazon for $21.00 that is waterproof {tested in the bathtub} and has the hast that goes through the hole installed in it with which you can use any nice lock to secure its contents. (To remove the military text, just put some acetone (fingernail polish remover) on a cloth and rub vigorously)

There is no provincial law that tells you you have to lock up ammo at home or in your car... It's a good thing to do so it won't get in the wrong hands but not the law.. make sure you know for a fact what the law is and not what someone told you before you make a video.. you just end up confusing new gun owners In Canada.. smart idea on how to lock ammo box tho if you wanted to..

Looks like all u need to do is cut the handle and bend it enough to open cover. Fine if ur just trying to stop kids from opening it.

Way too much work. Get a long shakle lock and go through the large hole and put the carry handle on like you did.

judging from these videos, there is no way you can put those locks on . they are way too big and you dont have any room to drill any bigger. this is bull
