Had mine for a little over a year and still love it. I've really appreciated the drum machine as it helped me work on my timing. I use it most with stereo headphones. Note: if you use headphones, ensure you don't use those with an inline built-in microphone, which have TRRS connections (3 rings) on the plug-in adapter. It doesn't appear to take it. I found a cheap pair of stereo only headphones, which have the TRS (2 rings) on the adapter and worked perfect (Sony MDR ZX110, which sound terrific for the price.) Now for some minor down sides: the plastic is light grade but can stand up to regular practice use. The knobs feel fragile, so if you have to travel with it, store it in the box and use that styrofoam piece to protect the knobs. The volume on the unit doesn't sound all too loud in headphone use (which is good if preserving your hearing is high on your priority list). It comes with an AC charger but be sure to use alkaline batteries if you're forgoing the AC charger. Otherwise, it's a purchase you won't regret. It's perfect for beginners, the budget-restricted, and especially for anyone who wants some serious variety in their portable/headphone use play time!

ive been playing since i was like 14 - 1998.... this is the coolest thing ive ever plugged into, super compact, verstile, and in all honesty, fun as hell ! so many neat effects and sounds coming out of my amp, some i didnt even know were possible !!! such a kool little unit !!!!

Looks like something fun to play around with, and a decent price besides (they're cheaper on EBay, BTW). I'm just getting started in electric guitar, and can't afford a lot of expensive equipment (I just built a tube amp head from an old PA amp for $75), so this might be a good starter for effects until I can get some more serious pedals. The drum effects are a nice added feature!

just got mine today 😊 for my friend....pretty much a bang on a budget especially for starters.

I just got mine yesterday and have been testing it out on my bass and kalimba. Having it maxed out on Kalimba sounds like both the weirdest and coolest sound I've ever heard. It's almost like a syne wave synth that you know isn't a synth. Like really good computer game graphics that look human, but you can tell aren't. It's hard to explain. On bass the same settings sound like Bootsy Collins synth bass on the song Flashlight by Parliament Funkedellic.

I just got one of these. Wanted to see how all these nobs work. The instructions have more on the drum beat then the sound effects.
