He lives at home 🏡 with the family 👪. Sometimes, Mommy gets so fed up with taking care ❤ of Daddy that she often says that he needs to live in a nursing home 🏡. He was one of the youngest residents in a nursing home. He had to stay at two nursing homes in his life. One was bad and one was good.

Not good to put his mom first means he does not love u as much. I know as i am in this situation. Even kids and his father are not top. So always put you parents at the same level as ur partner and family.

God's design: God 1st, your spouse 2nd, your children 3rd, and then your parents and rest of the family. If your parents are old and up in age, you're to treat them just like they took care of you when you couldn't take care of yourself. That's honor. You marry you become one.

At the end it showed his fate for his simpery foolishness! Meredith, however, would have made sure their kids loved her to possibly inherit, so she doesn't have to face the same fate she forced on her MIL! The real villain in the story is the weak simp son!

2 years? Couldn't he have waited until the wife could not longer legally have an abortion maybe 6 months then bring the mother back? I hate that guy almost as much as his wife. He had no spine. With the evidence against her, he will make sure that she will get nothing from him. John tells Meredith off that he had filed for divorce, orders her to pack up her things and get out of his house. She furiously leaves his house and continues stewing as she watches Chloe smile before slamming the door shut. Meredith tells John that he'll be begging to take her back and she will forget him. Sometime later, John meets a wonderful woman in Shelby(an African American) who is caring for Chloe as her nurse. Both begin dating and fall in love. At their wedding reception, Chloe is makes a speech in how she is happy that John met and married Shelby. She thanks Chloe for everything and how happy she's made them. 20 years later, John and Shelby are surrounded with love by their children and grandchildren. They have a picture framed of Chloe smiling and having died in peace. While walking one of his granddaughters, Alexia, to the park, John notices a sad and miserable Meredith in the nursing home. She is surprised to see him after all those years and tells him about her life since then. After their divorce, Meredith remarried to Dan, but her life quickly fell apart. He turned out to be an even worse control freak and laid down the law with her. Dan and his mom, Karen, often humiliated her on a daily basis by reminding her that she's a gold-digging Jezebel and she will never use the pregnancy as an excuse to assert her disgusting ways. They have a son and a daughter together, but nothing has changed. Meredith had to provide for their whims and is never given a 2nd thought. After Dan and Karen died, her grown kids left her in the nursing home, not wanting to have anything to do with her. Meredith admits she finally understands how John and Chloe felt with her terrible behavior. She begs him to forgive her for her cruelty and wants another chance in their marriage. John kindly tells Meredith that he had forgiven her a long time ago, but there's no chance for them now. He's happy with Shelby and she loves him for himself. Maybe the spoiled child isn’t John’s child at all! Meredith secretly cheated on John with a man so she could tricked her husband into thinking it was his child and blackmailed him to leave his mother in a nursing home or she abort the baby. John will divorced her after finding out the child didn’t belong to him. Meredith didn’t want to take care of her child and dumped the child into the foster care where they were adopted by foster parents.
