Mike isn’t. He’s a pilot who doesn’t spend much time at home. So when he overheard his wife say that he had nothing to do with their future baby, Mike immediately thought that she cheated on him. He decided to confirm his suspicions by catching Jenny in the act with her lover. Yet, as he spied on her, he saw his own dad beside his wife’s side.

exactly! Before anything, he needed to try to reconnect with his son first. And if his son didn’t want him in his life, or pregnant wife, he should’ve understood and respected his decision. Even if the grandfather had good intentions.

Love the story, but the grandpa should have been a good father to his own son and not leave him and his wife, his son's mother behind but he made a valid effort to help out his daughter in law with the pregnancy then help out with the childbirth in the hospital, that's a small start on his part and kudos for him.

@@AmoMama to be honest, here's how I see it, for this story, I can give the father/grandpa credit for helping out his daughter in law with the pregnancy and the childbirth in the hospital, but he was better off being a good part of his wife and son's life when he was young and decided to become a pilot because of the fact that when he left, his own son developed a serious amount of resentment towards him in more ways than one and the father should realize that, which he finally did in the end and that's a small start for now though, so good to go for them.

I really thought his wife was cheating on him. I guess I might’ve been wrong however, obvious why her behavior always having your dad in law around lying to her husband and called his dad when she was in labor yeah all that can cause suspicious behavior and then some people get upset when you accuse them guess what your behavior is what made them accuse you maybe you should confess sometime before it’s too late

I think after watching this video that AniMatter should change the title of the story to "My Husband is Paralysed to Believe I've Been Cheating on Him." because Mike have been obessed to believe that his wife Jane had been cheating on him with his father Robert and the baby is not his. Mike almost destroyed his own marriage as he continued to be suspicions towards Jane during her pregnancy 🤰and would have lost everything if it wasn't for his father Robert wise advice. This convince Mike to never repeat the mistake that his father made many years and to be a better husband/father.

Bitterness only allows us to regressively repeat our parent's past mistakes. All adults should've exhibited maturity. In the absence of infidelity; it appears dad and daughter-in-law were the most mature. Doctor-client privilege: wife telling doctor "My husband has nothing to do with this baby." That statement was a bit immature; yet hormones spoken. A military wife does have to understand a soldier is government property and time will be sacrificed. He could end up in the brigg/ military prison otherwise.
