This bowling alley closed in 2019 due to a chemical fire from a neighboring building. Since then, it has been sitting vacant. In 2018, it failed to sell at auction. It was also used as filming location in the 1996 comedy, Kingpin and the 2000 movie, Wonder boys. This building was once a brewery which stopped production prior to prohibition. Beaver Valley Bowl. Pennsylvania.

That tag in the beginning is probably the coolest one I've ever seen, those vending machines were for cigarettes. You don't see them that often. Wally is the man!!!!

In the pool hall by the main desk to the right of the door is a pillar that appears to be a support beam. That pillar was signed by Bill Murray and Woody Harrelson. One night after filming, they partied it up with the old owner of the hall. The owner had a great story about them partying it up in their trailer. The autographs have to still be there.

At 10:06, those are Brunswick A-2 pinsetters, and I was a pinsetter mechanic for many years. I used to love rebuilding the equipment, but those days are long gone. Bowling is a dying industry. Excellent video!! I gave it a thumbs up!!

This is so sad. I grew up in that town and walked to that bowling alley every Saturday morning as a kid for leagues and then as an adult evening bowling. It just breaks me heart. The upper floor lanes next to the pool hall used to offer duck pin bowling.

Really awesome! It’s how fast 11 months can change the bowling alley. It’s a bit more decayed and messy now due to more vandalism. But it’s still a very beautiful bowling alley. It was well worth it. Love how you use the flashlight. It gives the videos a scarier feel. Love it! 👍

I used to love bowling there. It was always cool to walk up the steps to the lanes. And it was even better going to the 3rd floor and shooting pool in the pool hall. The Bar was on the first floor. Spent lots of fun days and evenings in that building.

Used to shoot pool there all the time as a youngster. Mine and my buddies names are on a beam between floors. The old elevator would get jammed between floors and you could pry open the doors.

We actually did go back there and checked it out, we didn’t necessarily put all of it on video but there’s another video I’ve seen of them going back there, so I knew what to expect actually. Sorry though, hope you liked the rest of the video h though

They did improv shows every Friday night upstairs, which is why the are costumes and props.

On Facebook @The Cellar Dwellers, you can see what the stage used to look like. And the tiny hockey arena was built so we could play hockey! Because really, went not?!? The babies were props, not sure how they got on the hockey rink. And the ball was still in the foosball table because we were gentlemen playing a gentlemen's game. Where the water was in the back, there was a paper mache 7' tall volcano.

At 18:37, the only reason a lane buckles like that is due to an excessive amount of water. The approaches are very sensitive to water, and a small amount can cause the wood to swell very badly. I've taken the pinsetters out of bowling centers that had far more damage than this place.

@@AmongTheUnknown - I had a birthday at the bowling alley, pretty standard. I was a part of The Cellar Dwellers from 2008-2018. It’d be hard to sum up the high benchmarks of the performances, but I did meet some incredible people there including my fiancée.

what is crazy we were ghosthunting there on a friday night 2 -3 weeks before the fire, we got a photo of a ghost coming out of the generator box near the spot that burned down, but when we go in the car, all the photos were erased

if anyone attempts to explore please note i would recommend a face mask as the basement smells horrific and there is a squatter there who doesn’t want to be disturbed
