When I hear this, and I'm somehow in this trance of listening to the phrases and it seems to make sense, but then reality comes, loneliness comes, hurt, loss, and this process becomes difficult

Beautifully done. This has been my favorite video on Amor Fati. Amor Fati has gotten me through so many challenges in life, and I’ve able to see them as opportunities to learn and grow, to practice acceptance, patience, and gratitude. I’ve been through many major challenges, but I always find gratitude in them somehow, and you know what? A lot of times, it turns out that they ended up leading to some of the best things that ever happened to me, what some people call “a blessing in disguise.” I’ve lived a very rough life at times, but that’s made me be able to experience greater beauty as a result. We can’t know peace until we’ve experienced suffering. Amor Fati.

Sounds like an intermediate step to Buddhism. Keep in mind that Neitzsche is an affluent person. I always wonder how much his philosophy depends conditions on his possessions.

I dunno what you consider "affluent" but, financially, Nietzsche lived a pretty modest life. He was not a fan of many people (understatement) yet he was fond of Schopenhauer & grumpy ol' Schope drew from Buddhism to develop his own philosophy/ideology.. ergo, it's safe to say that Nietzsche found such immaterial guidance important.
