I love Lineage more than Guidance and as a female, I would totally wear Lineage... I don't find it to be male or female but unisex for sure!

Lineage is very nice! I’ve had time to sit with it and I agree it can certainly be considered unisex 😍

Lineage is so special. I love it! it reminds me of this particular chapel in Antigua Guatemala lol high mountain air and incense. Guidance and lineage are two favs

I, rather stupidly, blind bought Guidance - for the first few sprays I hated it (and it is sooo expensive) I should have known better! BUT, after a week or so, omg it is really, really growing on me

I bought Purpose for myself and on top of it I'm woman, very feminine one. Now I feel stupid that I wear male perfume, but I just cannot stand fresh and sweet fragrances

I don't understand how people are raving about Guidance, it's got a horrible note in the opening and though it mellows with time, the stink stays throughout. I can appreciate the fragrance would be beautiful, without that one awful note. Was so ready to blind buy based on all the reviews but thankfully saved myself the disaster.

Hmm, I wonder if it's either the hazelnut, pear, or olibanum in the top! Thank goodness for sampling so we don't have to make (pricey!) mistakes! Are there any other rose fragrances that you prefer? Or just any great recommendations? I'm always on the lookout :)

@@gourmandgarden Hi GG, I recently purchased a rose fragrance by niche French house Les Fleurs Du Golfe .The perfume is called Saphir Rose and I love it It's an extrait parfum and is so reasonably priced. It's very Delina in the opening but it dries down as a beautiful warm rose scent, rather than musk. It's so lovely yet affordable I'm shocked no-one is taling about it.

I thought I was just crazy, but yeah, that one note in Guidance is also unpleasant to me. I struggled to put my finger on what it is, but finally realized it smells like after sex. And not in a good way. Has to be the ambergris. I don't know what other note in this composition could possibly smell like that.
