Video Recorded on July 28, 2022: I was getting ready to board the train from Wilson heading back to Cary. Anyway, I just happen to see KZfaq user ‪@southernrailwayproductions‬as soon as I reached into the station. I started rolling my camera and as I turned right to capture the sound of the mechanical bells on the railroad crossing, I saw a couple people were standing a little too close to the yellow line (seen at 0:10). I do apologize if the camera movement was awkward. I was waving my hand high up in the air to alert them to move out of the way as the train was coming into the station. But I thankfully assumed they have already moved out of the way once the train came close pulling into the platform. Anyway, I just want to remind you guys to please stay off the railroad tracks! Remember, railroad tracks are not places to be hanging out, walking, or playing on. And if you are at a train station, DO NOT stand close or on the yellow line almost reaching the edge of the platform. Not only is it dangerous, but you can also end up falling off the platform onto the tracks if you lose your balance. This reminds me of that one video ‪@bertbert14‬upload it about a decade ago of people being too close to the tracks at a train station and almost getting hit by a train. Remember to be safe out there as a friendly message being part of the “rail safety week“ series to put out there. Hope you enjoyed this video!
