Amtrak EB California Zephyr scheduled stop at Ft. Morgan CO 9 Oct 2020

Running 1 hour and 9 minutes late CZ 6 stopped at 9: 34 at FMG. The stop turned into longer than usual due a baggage problem and two stop passenger service. The consist was powered by two P42 DC's, 139 and 155. The consist was in a SW Chief configuration with the baggage car trailing.
With passenger service completed CZ 6 was off to Chicago.

They seem to be making up for all the non-time in station with the triweekly schedule. A great battery burn time video.

It was interesting for sure and I put my camera on the charge after down loading. I didn't get the number but there was a lot who got on and off. Track your train was up to their old ways stuck on DEN went to train status got the time about 12 minutes before 6 got here.

Yes it is strange with only 3 trains EB a week. AMTRAK management is shooting themselves in the foot. Weather is quite pleasant not to hot or cold. Hi Engineer Gracie and the Amtrak kids.

Really? Looked like the gal had 14+ bags. Hopefully they charged her the excess baggage fees. Coulda paid for the DEN-CHI fuel bill. Heck they a Baggage should just done the Sleeper stop for her and a 2nd spot and pitched it all in the baggage. Reminded me of the off-gridders on Alaska RR.

Thanks for watching, that was an interesting stop. First off they stopped way short of what they usually do. I guess they misplaced some of her baggage.
