Lowrider Life The R35 completely misses the idea of the GT-R. The R35 is just Nissan's attempt to attack the supercar market and increase their profit based solely on the legacy of the GT-R name by marking up the car to twice of what it should cost. And the G35s and G37s, well, those cars are ugly as hell, so, the modern Skyline is just a car enthusiast's dream.

@@Kerwyn204 K3K hit the nail on the head. The real shame is that for example Toyota doesn't give a shit about their older cars. They dont even produce parts for the Supra, or MR2 anymore. Both are iconic cars with a huge following and fanbase. You really wanna pay a grand for a headlight? They stopped a few years back. Thats why OEM parts for the Supra command outrageous prices, 3-4 times as much as they should. Theres a finite amount left. Mind you the the newest Supras arent even 20 years old. If you compare that to say, Mercedes, you can literally buy factory OEM parts for any Mercedes ever produced. Even 100 year old Mercs, and if no parts are in stock they will produce them.

"It is so fast that even a dead man will scream" lol this is how you describe a track tuned 600 horsepower R34, look how stable the car is, the car didn't over steer with such bouncing and power. Actually, the powerband of the R34 is similar to the R35 Nismo but the R35 got a quicker AWD torque split, quicker traction and stability control, more torque applies at lower rpm but weight couple hundred kg more. I hope the N attack A kit could be as crazy.

I still have dreams I visit an old home of mine and find I'd left one of these 90's JDM cars sitting around and when I wake, I cry because it never was and the odds of it ever being are smaller with every year that goes by. none of the new stuff has character like these save a few models and everything else is just a pointless re-hash of something from before. @@yourmum69_420 its different from the this one, this is a heavily tuned and modified rb26 with a different exhaust. The r34 in initial d was a r34 gtr vspec nur ll which is a very rare car and hard to obtain. By the looks from it Hoshino didn't do ALOT of tuning on his r34 but probably boosted the turbo pressure. I guess his r34 was around 500hp, keisukes fd maybe 400-450 hp after tuning. Also this is a track so an fd would lose since tuning for a track focused fd mostly range around up to 400 hp for responsive reasons. But maybe an engine swap of a 4rotor b26 could beat the r34 on a track..

man. That mines car is such a legend. I love my R32 GTR but just watching this makes me realize how sluggish mine is. Even with 500 hp. I'm using the same turbos with big heavy cams and the boost comes on way too late. I'd love the responsiveness of this car!
@vxsr336 жыл бұрын
You're using the stock r32 gtr turbos and making 500hp? And you say it's sluggish? The stock turbos should be responsive and wouldn't be able to make 500hp. Im talking hp atw. Something is fishys here, sounds like you just made this up.

When I was watching this videos 15 years ago on some different platforms I fell in love with with Nissan cars, especially with the R32, R33, R34. Toyotas are maybe even better for tuning but around 500-600hp I would always chose the nissans. Thanks for the re-upload.

Car manufacturers need to step up their game.The most modern car I would consider purchasing to build up is an S2000. An outlier is would be the base 370z. Everything else isn't designed for an enthusiast nor is it affordable. The 20 year old JDM cars are constantly flowing into the States because of the lack of design and or cost. Will the manufacturers capitalize on creating a 90's competitor? PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

Drew G Exactly. There's a huge market and money to be made, I don't understand why car manufacturers aren't doing anything about it. The BRZ/FRS was a fresh surprise and that car is really amazing. We need more sports cars like that.
@ads29555 жыл бұрын
@@calculator5909 BRZ sales suck. They were discontinued for financial reasons and that continues to be a good reason. Even the BRZ wouldn't have happened with Toyota or Subaru alone.
@calculator59095 жыл бұрын
@@ads2955 Yeah they suck now, but go to any car meet and I bet you'll see at least 10 of those cars. They sold well initially, they can't keep selling them with only minor changes like they thought they could. The market is there, no doubt.
@peter33525 жыл бұрын
lol, did you just say s2000 and affordable in the same sentence? Fuck boys list that shit used after years of ownership and want the price they paid from the dealer. The 370z is a way better alternative with much more room for growth without needing to sell your house.
@HoodOnFire5 жыл бұрын
The BRZ/FRS got redesigns, so what is this about them being discontinued? There's no way they'd redesign the car that isn't selling well. At least not these days.

I can still remember my first jdm turbo, a ca18det s13 with a healthy 180kw. Thing was so much fun and even had a mines ECU. Fun times.
