**In the prosperous kingdom of Pars lies the Royal Capital of Ecbatana, a city of splendor and wonder, ruled by the undefeated and fearsome King Andragoras. Arslan is the young and curious prince of Pars who, despite his best efforts, doesn't seem to have what it takes to be a proper king like his father.
At the age of 14, Arslan goes to his first battle and loses everything as the blood-soaked mist of war gives way to scorching flames, bringing him to face the demise of his once glorious kingdom. However, it is Arslan's destiny to be a ruler, and despite the trials that face him, he must now embark on a journey to reclaim his fallen kingdom.

Manga has only recently moved on to events of Season 3. This is a problem, it takes a very long time. And ratings were not high. Watching current anime, apparently, for people this is too complicated a plot, they need comedies and everyday life.

I don't think it will be this year or the next year,the manga just moved on from where the S2 ended , the last chapter is 125 about 14 new chapters for S3 and it's not sufficient, I advise you to read the manga, it's 10000000 much better than the anime, in addition to that the events in the manga are mostly different from the anime . Sorry for my bad English.

Me encanta este anime, pero lamentablemente no creo que hagan la tercera temporada porque se alejo bastante del manga en varias partes. En esta parte de la espada, realmente me encantó el toque más oscuro que empezó a tener la serie. Sin duda una de las mejores series que hay.

This is about Amir Arslan, a Persian legend told during Qajar era. But since Qajars themselves were also Turkic it's possible they made this legend based on Alp Arslan himself in the first place, Since Arslan is also a Turkic name.

Arsalan is Turkic name but this anime heavily influenced by Iranian history and mythology. Arsalan character inspired from Cyrus the great as historical character and Zal as mythological character which means His appreance is look like Zal and his deeds is same as Cyrus the great as kindhearted and righteous king which abolished Slavery from empire
