O shit waddup
A year and a month later... I’m not going to pretend that I’m anywhere near popular enough to have Frequently-Asked Questions, so instead here is my List of Hypothetical Questions One Might Have Upon Viewing This Video, or my
LOHQOMHUVTV,
For short.
Q: Dude!! Where have you been???
A: The short and simple answer is, busy. I have barely watched any anime during my hiatus, let alone had time for video editing. All I can really say is, when I started doing this, I had lots and lots of free time that just simply isn’t there anymore. On top of that, I’ve been tremendously burnt out on editing. Believe me when I say that I have tried multiple times to make videos over the past year, and none of them ever made it past the very beginning phase. I would put ten minutes into them, maybe half an hour if I really pushed myself. But I just couldn’t do it. Editing had become a chore, and, as I’ve said before, I only ever intended for this to be a labor of love.
Q: So why post a video now, after so long?
A: I don’t really know. I did miss it, to be honest. Both editing and the process of interacting with fans. I finally had the right combination of free time and state of mind.
Q: Are you back for good, or is this the end?
A: To be honest, I don’t really know. Once you start to get back in the groove of something, it’s easy to stick with it, and I’ve already got a few other solid ideas for videos following this one. But, I don’t want to make any more promises that I can’t keep. You guys don’t deserve that.
Q: Will you try to post updates/keep in touch more often?
A: Probably not. Mostly because it’s generally pretty pointless, and again, I don’t like making promises that I can’t deliver on. However, I do plan to try and respond to comments and messages more often. I’ve been holding off on that for too long.
Anyway, if you actually bothered to read all of this, I hope you enjoyed the video and I look forward to, maybe, possibly, eventually doing more stuff. Toodles.
