Thank you. Not for just your singing, but for adding an "old" "out dated style" song to your program. Would love to hear you sing Beach's "I Send My Heart Up To Thee."

I love how you do the phrase "sweet, sweet, sweet," letting up on the end, very musical. Tears to my eyes! Thank you.

from AMY BEACH-Passionate Victorian, by A.F. Block: California's birds were the inspiration for "Meadowlarks" and "In Blossom Time," op. 78, nos. 1 and 3. The lyrics were by California's poet laureate Ina Coolbrith (1841-1928), who became a special friend of Beach's. About the first song, Beach said, "In the southern part of the state I heard the meadow lark singing and I have not only made use of its florid song, but even in its own tonality. And, if the poets and the birds of California are an inspiration, its Sierras, the music of its woods and the thunder of the surf are not less so." Indeed, for Beach "Meadowlarks" was emblematic of her happiest days in San Francisco.
