Trust me, I am just as much of a sinner as the rest of us all - king in fact. However there is a difference in mindset between us... She left her first husband Gary, while he was begging her to stay, she and her now husband Vince publish a magazine article titled "Second Time's The Charm' referring to her second marriage - pointing out the fact that leaving a marriage can be great. Also, her public support of LGBT marriage as she opens her property up for the ceremony is a sign of pleasing the world rather than God... - these are just a few items here. In these last days it is so important to hold to Godliness as much as possible. Not wavering in our faith just because the world says we should. Rant over...

So she left her first marriage. She was unhappy. There are millions of people who divorced. That does not mean they are bad people because they made a decision to leave an unhappy marriage. What I love about Amy is that she loves without condition. That is what Jesus taught us. To love. Not to judge. May those without sin cast the first stone. I belong to a church that has a sign “All are welcome here”. The greatest sign of Christianity is LOVE. If I am troubled or burdened, I would much rather fall into the arms of someone like Amy Grant..than a judgemental so-called Christian who is going to reject me or judge me. Jesus said if you truly want to follow him, you need to deny yourself (read that word again), DENY yourself, pick up your cross and follow Him. The truth is that she, out of wisdom and love, does not expose, is that Gary had problems with alcohol and drugs while raising young children and Amy tried everything to save the marriage. Not even accompanied by counseling pastors, they could proceed. Amy saved her children, her career and her life by breaking up with Gary. Only God knows.
