Omg i love her too for not being afraid to talk about issues people are weirded about. Even if she seems not to care about things, she does. She stays true to what she believes in. Issues of racism, feminism etc. are necessary topics to talk about. And i love her for spinning a discourse re these topics so that people show their biases. We as bystanders are then encouraged to assess our values and consume biases in order to make sense of the current standards of morality etc. She elicits discourse and genuine perspectives in the online community. Her jokes, no matter how offensive, bring about positive externalities. I love her. She is smart and she is full of substance!

Don't mind the trying to be funny Amy Schumer but when you promote animal cruelty so you can joke about it as you have, any respect for you just disapated. The cold, demented cruelty of how Canadian Goose has Coyote killed, is a disgusting slaughter fest. And to show little regard of Coyotes means you do not really know them and only go by the fables and negative rumors by those who are bloodlust to kill them. This is what is so disgraceful of mankind. Shame on you.

I actually love her humour but this one bit really got to me. I don't think the statement u used to justify or defend her comedy fits universally for all subjects and topics. Also Ricky Gervais is a comedian known for the kind of humour that "offends" people at times and guess what, he uses his platform and dark humour to criticize people and at times age old customs which indulge in animal cruelty.

Reading the comments I expected her to have a very vulgar language and content but she hasn't... I like her and respect her so much for being always ironic and honest and smart. Girls don't have to be nice all the time, or accept the world around them, they can have a voice and make jokes . Coming from Italy I don't always like american comedy because is very simple and direct and too easy, but I like her (and Stephen and Jon Stewart) because everything she writes have a reason to be there, she makes statement and is a very sweet girl (go and watch an interview where she is "serious"). Did you know she receives death threats ?? How come no one talk about this but instead we are terrefied at her reference to the vagina. She makes jokes BECAUSE of the conflictual relationship existing between americans' embarassment and lust for nudity. US citizens should come at piece with their body, without all this morbidity. And trust Colbert, he likes her very much, he knows what he's doing.

I lost a baby brother hours after he was born because he didn't have a midriff. It didn't seem contrived to me, it seemed like the relieved version of what my mom still does when she talks about Stijn. But then again, only stupid people have empathy. Smart people are psychopaths second guessing everyone's motives and never recognizing honest emotion because they lack it in themselves.

The Canada Goose joke came from Canadian comedian Katherine Ryan's Netflix Comedy Special, for those of you wanting Amy's referencing. She's developed Katherine's original joke further though and brought it to such an unfunny place Stephen would rather go to break. Nice one Schumer

What is wrong with y'all, can't you just enjoy a joke. Katherine Ryan's special is incredible, and she even pays homage to Amy in it. Just because someone mentions Canada Goose doesn't make a repeat joke, it's an entirely different joke. I was at the Late Show for this taping and I can guarantee the energy was PALPABLE. Amy Schumer is special and she doesn't deserve the hate you bring down on her.

Not that it really matters to what Amy does but if you had seen Amy in "Mostly about sex" and look at her now... She has gained a lot of weight... She's not a model and doesnt need to have the body of Kate Moss but in general, it is a bit unfortunate to see anyone gain (or lose) this kind of weight.

He's a science communicator inspiring the young generation to pursue a scientific career. Far more admirable than a nobody scientist who spent his life studying one molecule, writing 500 papers about it and then vanish into oblivion. Neil is doing us all a favour by continuing Carl Sagan's work. In the end you know Neil and not last year physics Nobel prize winner, whoever he/she is or what he/she did.
