I'm so in love with this song just like everyone else in the comments section. I've listened to this song at least 7 times today, it perfectly captures how it feels to admire someone from afar and just love and remember every detail about them. wanting to hold their hand, play with their hair and just be happy with them. its about having a crush and wanting to be noticed by them and loved by them. its such a cute but bittersweet song. maybe the person that Amy is talking about in the song doesn't like them back. but its also speaks from an obsessive point of view>? Man, me too. This song tore apart the very fabric of my being and healed a deep pain within me I didn't even know existed. Unfortunately, it also planted within me a deep seed of nostalgic anticipation for something I'm not even sure will happen. And it almost hurts worse but if I could undo it, I wouldn't. I broke down hearing this. It was right at the last "alone with you" that it tore my heart up. Instantly brought back so many feelings and introduced new ones. I am less than a week into knowing this song and it's been on repeat ever since. This song changed me.

I've finally found a song that reminded me of the first few nights I stayed up late hanging out at a playground, meeting my brother's best friends for the first time. There was a boy with a constellation of freckles on his face, a perfect star-shaped one on his shoulder. He took out his little white polaroid camera and took a picture of me with a traffic cone on my head, laughing. We went back to another guy's house and watched a horror movie, and I jumped at every scare. He laughed and told me, "I rather watch you than this movie. It got later and later, and my brother fell asleep. I fell asleep, my head on the freckled boy's lap, holding hands, hidden in the dark. The first time I heard this song was on an Apple Music up and coming playlist. I was streaming it while on about a 5 hour drive. I had to pull over off the interstate half way through this song. I was taken completely by surprise and just blown away. I bought tickets to her US tour when I got to my destination.

She is so amazing. I heard this last week (a little late to the party lol) and have had it playing every day over and over again. It brought forth feelings and emotions I didn't know I was capable of feeling. It hurts a lot but in a good way.
