i can't get over how this whole thing was just so satisfying to watch along with you speaking. it was so funny when you purposefully misplaced the gems for demonstration. the little "uh oh, i've messed up" was literally the most sincere way i've ever heard a person confront an accident they made.

You're right! I've had insomnia for 3 days. I've had 3 hours sleep since Saturday night. I am having a hard time listening to her because her voice is almost like a lullaby! Lol 🤷🤷🤦

I use silicone cooking sheets to lay on top of the picture so I can reach areas better. My arthritis and bad shoulders give me limitations, but the silicone allows me reach over to anywhere to work without sticking. I cut a larger sheet into 4 pieces and just adjust them to keep me comfortable and my work areas accessible without sticking to the canvas.

LOL I'm an old lady who just discovered a young new hobby! I like to sew and crochet, (and I adopted a sweet little girl 5 years ago who also likes crafts .. and I digress like a sweet little old lady tends to do) and we were walking through Hobby Lobby this last Christmas. It also being my birthday, she said, "I see what I want to get you for your birthday!" I LOVE sloths and she saw a diamond art painting of a ... sloth! I didn't want to disappoint so I put it in the cart... and I've been watching beginner videos ever since. You have taken away my apprehension and want me to dive right in! I can't wait to see her face when I show her my first completed sloth diamond art :)

I've found that I find more enjoyment in doing diamond art of things that are important to me than doing it at random; I bought a custom-made picture of my parents two dogs, both of whom have since passed over the rainbow bridge, and I'm doing it for them as a shared Christmas painting.

I haven’t even gotten my first painting yet, and am already obsessed. I can tell this is something I’m going to do for hours on end. Anyway, as a 7th grader, I asked my dad about it, to see if he would maybe get them for me for Christmas. He said that, if I showed I was interested enough in it, and if I “did my research” he would consider buying me one. I don’t think I could wait till Christmas to get my first one though. I want one now.

Rachel Rae Im having a go at my first diamond painting, with round drills. So great tips, thanks. But it has been harder than I expected. When watching other youtube videos they just go from tray to picture back and forward - fast. But when getting the drills in the pen, seeing the flat part has to stick to the picture, the round part has to go in the pen. I have also come across alot of drill bits stuck together & need to seperate them. Otherwise when I try to put it on the picture one goes flying! So when putting the four drills or whatever in the other end like other videos show, how is it they get all the round tops to go in? Hope you can help me. Thanks :)

Excellant instruction! Thank you from this beginner. As a "visual" person I can appreciate how to videos much better than any book. I'm excited to start painting. me watching as I am waiting at my door all day long as my package should come any second. Diamond painting is a really soothing activity for me because of my depression and anxiety so I am really excited to try it but it’s been like a month now so I am so ready to just get it . Something I highly reccomend is a handmade diamond pen it can be resin or clay( I use a resin one from an amazon shop) and since they are bigger they help with hand cramps so you dont get them as often!

That was helpful. I want to move to a new house so bad, and I've been on an app looking at so many decorations and saw these paintings. At first I thought they were just paintings that I'd get and automatically hang up but then saw exactly what they are lol, and this is what they are. So I decided I need to learn how to do that first before I ever order them lol.

Same. Some websites allow you to do that, but maybe a note to the seller would work just as well.
